Mornin.
My wifes premier clients mother passed away. She was a promininent member of the community in Miami and a philanthropist supporting the arts, education and local history. We will be attending services for her today at 11:00. Guess that will occupy the better part of the day, so no plan is a good plan. Just gonna roll with it. I jokingly wrote the other day that the end is near. Unfortunately this is true for all of us. Life has a finite quantity of time. Make the most of what we get. There are no second chances. I took the 90 grocery shopping yesterday. I needed to stretch her legs a little. Got caught in a rain storm on the way home. Gave the undercarriage a good rinsing off.

Greetings! I'm up early for me for a weekend day, got a tee-time this morning. Gonna be a in the mid to high 90's and humid here for the next week, so the air conditioning is going to get a workout. Maybe I'll do less projects around the house and more napping.

Morning guys...I slept pretty well for a while, then I got hot. The room we were in has no fan, so it got stuffy. I got up and went down to the front room ans slept on the couch.

My knee is stiff again this morning. I think it is the driving long distances that does it. I hope it limbers up today. I need to stretch my legs today.

Morning everyone.....here is a string of numbers for ya...98 95 98 98 99 98 98.....that's the weather forcast for the next week.....holy cow and guess what its humid also. Now its no secret I don't like the cold and winter in general and don't want to complain but this is ridiculas.

Corn fact #23........When temps reach 95 and above during corn pollination the high heat cooks the pollen in the little pollen pods and sterilizes it. So when the pollen grains fall on the silk to fertilize that kernel production it doesn't happen. Each silk is attached to a potential kernel. Then you get ears that are missing kernels and that can reduce yields considerably. This will be interesting watercooler talk at work and people will be impressed with your overall worldly knowledge..........

Church today then work on a project my wife came up with. I hung the 80# mirror yesterday with a 120 lb hanger and its still up there. Its over the head of the bed in the quest room.....she said would you sleep in this bed? I said are you nuts? Not with an 80 lb mirror over my head......so when you come to visit.......maybe you better stay at the motel......

Good Morning CGs!

I'm up, so I guess that's a start. We were at a wedding yesterday when RR#1 was the flower girl. Her first wedding ever and she was excited, did a great job. She had met the little boy who was the ring bearer and the rehearsal but that was it. She's usually not good with new kids, but they hit it off and ran around and played at the wedding. We got along great with the parents, too, so we all sat at a table together. After that it was a few drinks (not for me, I drove), dancing, visiting friends and family. Very nice night. We got home around 2:30 and after I was done getting everything put away I was in bed around 3:00. RR#2 slept in until 8:15 so I got him washed and fed. Wifey and RR#1 are still sleeping as of 9:51. Must be nice...lol.

Today we have the after-wedding party to attend around 1:00. We won't stay super long, wifey has to work tomorrow.

On the car front, I'm hoping to drop to SR off this week to be powdercoated black

We have another storm coming through right now. Guess the outdoor party is cancelled. Oh well.

Went to that grad party last evening in the heat...and as I predicted, it was too hot to drink(for me at least). I had one beer and it just tasted lousey. My oldest son had quite a few. Trying to PROVE he's 21. I had to drive his lowered Miata home. It scrapes every f'n time you turn the slightest bit off center. Its stable as hell, but just not my cup of tea.
Today I rewired my cousin's boat trailer. Had crimp connecters everywhere, no wonder nothin worked! Soldered everything up. Towed that back to his place and thats it for me today! More 95* degree weather on tap here for the week. I'll be in South Fla on Thurs for 2 weeks. Hot There too eh Tommy? At least there'll be an ocean breeze. Hope we can meet up Good Sir!

Wasn't as hot at the track today but a 3 layer nomex suit kinda keeps the breeze off you.
