So my son and I plan 4 days to get his ship in order. Lots of tasks involved. And my wife decides to invite my ex inlaws, my sons grandparents, down to surprise him at a birthday dinner. Who is supposed to entertain them over the next few days while she (my wife) is working? Thanks honey. Thanks so much. My moan for the day.

Greetings! As usual, the alarm clock was a most unwelcome sound. Gotta take my Maxima in today to have a few things fixed - a little hail damage from this spring, a self-inflicted dent from moving stuff around in the garage last winter, and a deep scratch from who knows where. Figured I may as well get it taken care of before I put the Vette away and have a spare car. Leaves are starting to fall like a madman, so I'll be up to my ears in yard work soon. Fortunately, that means that several months of no yardwork lie ahead.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Way too slow.

The casino only donated $20 last night, hardly worth going.
$20 won't even buy a can of body filler (the good stuff, not what most guys use ).

My internet ideas have generated $0, thanks Gurus I'll have to come up with somptin better than 24 Hour Enema

The Reverend Stig has left the building.

Hmmmm....it probably has something to do with the recession....normaly people will throw money at anything....

Maybe you could sell advertising to be displayed on the C2 like they do in NASCAR...I am sure the casino and other places you frequent would buy spots....the casino would want the hood I'm thinking since your are one of their best lose....err...customers........you could generate hundreds of dollars.....

Greetings from Lafayette, Co. near Boulder where my eldest daughter bought a 2 bedroom 1940's fixer upper. So me being a retired wood butcher, I drove the '91 Caprice wagon out, loaded with furniture, stuff and tools. Also fly fishing gear. We're heading to the mountains after work today for some fun.

Good story....I always told my kids that hell hath no fury like their old man would have if they ever bullied anyone....and if they were bullied then they were to set up the time in the parking lot and they were given permission to kick whoevers ass while I kicked their parents ass.....we never had a problem.

Marcus, I found out early that there is strength in numbers. Loners are easy prey for the wolves. Now that I'm a loner again I'm thinking 9MMs might offer some protection against one that might mess with an aging wolf.

Back on the home front.
I've been stuck in the middle of battles waged between my wife and my 34 y/o son. Each believes I should hold their position and inevidably I choose the middle ground. I think each should change their position. One should work more and think less and the other should think less and be more tolerable. I end up pissing off both of them. Being the mediator is a thankless job. It's far from over. In the end, nobody is going to be happy. I've plead my case. In the end, I'll win. Just thought I'd end Moanday with a moan.
