Good morning.
By now you have probably noticed the pace of the year is picking up. We're 10 days into the month already. Before we know it, it will be All Hallows Eve. November is a great time to load up on overstocked candy favorites sold at deep discounts after the ghouls and gremlins have departed. York Peppermint Patties, Reeses Cups and Snickers will all find their way into my cupboard. Let the calorie fest begin. I usually put on 10 to 20 lbs during the festive season. Pumkin, squash and pecan pies loaded with whipped cream await their disappearance. Red, white and sweet potatoes will find a place on my plate as with and abundance of meat. It gets dark outside earlier and stays dark longer providing greater opportunity to load up at the trough. Desserts suddenly become regular fare. Sometimes even a breakfast substitute. So prepare yourself. Let out your pants and loosen your belts. The time is almost here.

Has the deer a little doe?

Ya! Two bucks.

I miss the northern fall. South Florida has one primary color. Green. A nice autumn drive in the hill country was always relaxing while engaging the wonderful display of color. My destination was usually a country store or small diner. Sometimes it was a ride to the beach to say good bye to the surf and sand for the next several months. Funny how you always want something other than what you have.

Good Morning CGs!

Tmmy, yu frgt sme lttrs in th ttle of cht tdy.

Fall is my favorite season. I love the color changes of the leaves and trees. I like having it in the 70s during the day and low 60s at night. That's perfect to me for a nice drive. I like sweater weather. Not heavy parka and snow boots weather, but a light jacket or thin sweater is great. Unfortunately it never seems to last too long, snow comes and ruins it and I know I'm in for months of nasty winter (least favorite season).

Still on the hunt for a superram bracket for my throttle cable. Got the tpi plate yesterday but doesn't fit quite right. I emailed the company to see what they say.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning guys....I'm becoming inundated with projects. I guess I'll get them all done in time. Supposed to be nice here today, upper 60's. And upper 60's to mid 70's the rest of the week. I can handle that, but like Matt, it doesn't last long enough. Maybe a reason to move to south Florida, during the fall/winter months.

Greetings! The seat and steering wheel heaters were in use again this morning - it was a balmy 33 degrees. My ash trees are mostly bare, just waiting for the maples to drop their load. The wind never seems to blow the leaves into the neighbor's yard. My next-door neighbor does often pick up some of my leaves to mulch his garden, though. Plenty of fall clean-up chores loom, and of course I'll have to dig the snowblower out of the shed at some point.

Sure. Become a Snowbird. We have millions of em. Soon the car carriers will be coming in as the escapees of the north nestle in for a pleasant winter. Of course everybody whines about Thanksgiving and Christmas not feeling right. Afterall, how many places can you be swimming, walking around in shorts and firing up the BBQ on the patio in late December.

I love these type indicators. They are actually more precise than some talking head proclaiming gloom and doom or another talking about the advent of a new economic revolution spurned by robotics.

Good morning fellow Guru's.....it looks like a nice clear crisp fall day is on order here. We continue to work on projects outside around the house as we prepare for the winter blasts. I spent most of yesterday riding in combines while the farmers harvested. Its a good time to connect because there are usually happy at this time of year because its payday for them.

I get the GS out when I can since its going into short term storage in November sometime. I will miss driving it.

Gotta go get some porrage.........have a day to remember today Guru's.....

The roof rack was odd on that car, but acceptable.

The odd part is the wing. It's made of two things that certainly should not be on that make and model.

Bout an hour north, I've been on the base to pick up auction stuff.

BTW, government auctions are unreal....my buddie picked up a Bear tire machine and a Bear Electronic Tire balancer for $100 each.

Of course. we already paid for them once.
