Good morning gang.
Not much going on. Nice out for now but it is suppose to turn nasty later today with some snow and possably freezing rain. Lets hope everyone else gets throught it without any problems. Well after trying to sell my house on and off for two yrs we finally got an offer. We're keeping our fingers crossed and hope it goes through with no hickups. Word of the Day Tuesday, February 26, 2013. zakuska\ zuh-KOOS-kuh \, noun; 1. an hors d'oeuvre. Origin: This Russian word for a snack, zakuska , entered the lexicon in the mid 1880s as a derivative of kusát meaning "to bite." Good Morning CGs!
Log on here and what do I find? More  shit. What bothers me is it was the same a-hole I deleted yesterday! Same username and everything. Usually when you delete them, they don't come back. So I banned his (fake/stolen) email from signing up again. Then I had to clean up his stupid posts. Since I was at it, I cleaned up the rest of the spammers. Can you believe that in 24 hours, we had 48 new members sign up? Well guess what? 47 were spam. And I have to go through and read every profile to see if they are real. Ugh. We try very hard not to accidentally delete a profile of a legitimate person. Sometimes there is a booboo, but overall I think we do a good job. Just a PIA that there can't be better software security while still being reasonably easy to access the site. Oh well.FIL called me last night... FIL: "Are you still coming over to fix the stove tomorrow?" ME: "Yes" FIL: "OK, well the snowblower won't start, so I need you to look at that, too. I'm just letting you know now so you can bring more tools in case you need them" ME: "OK" Kind of humorous, but I guess I'm used to it. Same deal yesterday. I was literally opening the door to walk out with the kids to take RR#1 to school and my neighbor was ringing the doorbell. Her car wouldn't start (new car, in the garage) and she had to be at work in 15 minutes. So what did I do? Stopped what I was doing and went to look at it. After checking a couple things, I determined the battery was drained (probably from her kid playing in it) and hooked up my battery charger/jumper box. Got it going. Put me 15 minutes behind, but no big deal. Told my wife about it later and she got all bent that the neighbor needed my help because she says everything for them when they need it is an emergency. I said "oh well". Why argue? Not worth it. Same with her dad. Why argue? Not worth it. I just do it and move on to the next job. I guess we have different mentalities. Hope everyone has a great day! Sonofabitch. Ripped off at the nursery again. Guy got the new battery I put in the skid steer and loaded up on groceries again. I'm gonna have the skid steer issue covered but I'm thinking of contact alarming the fridge. Lost about $300 worth of stuff. He crawled under the infra red beam at the outdoor kitchen. Looks like I'll be pulling some guard duty. I hate shift work. I got him on camera. 6' white or hispanic dude. I recorded some material. Gonna see if I have a good enough shot to put up a wanted poster at the local convenience stores and offer a reward. DEAD OR ALIVE.  |

I have a couple good pics I'm going to share with police tomorrow. Then I may seek a little help from the media.They do a segment on stuff like this. One of those "If you know who this may be call 305 471 TIPS" The house next door is sheduled to be bulldozed within the next three weeks. After that I'm putting a lock and chain on the gate. The new owners can cut it off when they're ready. |
