bequeath\ bih-KWEETH \, verb;

1. to dispose of (personal property, especially money) by last will: She bequeathed her half of the company to her niece.

Morning guys....slow day at the guru yesterday, must mean that everyone was busy with lots of other things. Man, Tommy, Sue certainly has her time with the Dr's. I hope she recovers quickly.

I spent all evening working on a computer. Simple things weren't, last night. The last MS football game this afternoon. And the last home HS football game tomorrow.

The weather is supposed to take a nose dive today. Yesterday was glorious, 75 today the high is supposed to be 50 and not much better tomorrow. I had better dress warmly for the game, although I get to sit in the "press box" out of the weather. No heater up there, but not any wind either.

I've got a vocational education "Advisory council" meeting tonight. I'll show them my new CNC router. Most will be impressed, one guy is a real traditionalist.....doesn't even like nail guns. Who doesn't like nail guns?

Have a great day guys, I'll check in when I can.

Howdy! Been busy indeed, looking forward to vacation next week. 50's would be a welcome warm-up, I'm not ready for this cold crap yet.

Have a good day, all!

Good Morning CGs!

TB I will be happy to take your 50s, it was in the 30s when I left work. I want to tinker with the car to check a few more things before it is officially time to park it. We'll see.

I guess that means it's time to clean out the garage. I had some extra weight plates sitting in there that I managed to sell most of yesterday and this morning. A few left to get rid of so those might just sit in the basement with the other 800 lbs or so of plates I have down there. The money will ho towards tires in the spring. Lovely.

Tommy -- hope Sue gets well soon.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm baaaack....left early yesterday morning and got back real late....but got a ton of work done...I am dragging today. Am I getting to old for this stuff.....naaaa...faster horses, older whiskey and younger women....that's what I say.......hmmmm....that's a little risky for me so how's this....faster Corvettes, colder N/A's and treat my wife to whatever she wants......

It was supposed to hit 60 yesterday and where we were in the northern part of the State in never got over 44. Glad I had my insulated coveralls with me. Looks great out today but high of 50 only....

Well got to go do some test plot work this morning and load a truck this afternoon.....Have a satisfyingly great day Guru's....

Matt, it was 33 when I left for work this morning, too. Still not much over that. 50's would be below normal temps for this time of year, here.

I'm scared of nail guns....especially when the 16 penny nail hit something and curls back up and into my hand....dawg that hurt and so did the tetanus shot.....I know, what was my hand doing down that close to what I was nailing.....some lessons are learned the hard way....

Who doesn't like nail guns? Or any other power tools? Use the nail gun on him and give him a REASON not to like one... Kinda like when you cried your momma gave you something to cry about... busted your hiney,....
49 on my way in this morning - Vette don't like it, tire pressure don't like it, washer fluid don't either, says that's low, now it tells me to change my oil soon - geez like having a nagging wife... Truck's doing it too - didn't know it was smart enough to tell me to change the oil...
speaking of wives, hope yours gets better soon, Tommy. She must be getting sick of all that...
Getting ready this weekend for a 'fall foliage' cruise, we're leaving out ta 7am Saturday morning. Given the fact I've been waking up at 5 anyway this should not be a problem. However, since I'm due to be someplace that early, I'll probably oversleep. not taking my car this trip. There's an older guy (like 70) that usually goes by himself and I do too so we've decided to just take his car and trade off on driving. Rather take my car but I'd rather not have anyone drive my car. And - if you've ever been behind this dood while driving... well... at one point I didn't see anyone driving his car and it ran off the road - he decided he wanted to look in the passenger floorboard for something... skeery...

Low of 70 high of 83. I like a low of 65 and a high of 78. Looking forward to the few weeks that happens. There are two main season here for me. Jeans shorts season and jeans pants season. I have plenty of dress clothes for the few times of year I need them. I even have a few jackets and a coat.

BillH. Your suits have been sitting in the closet so long that they're back in style again.

I've been perusing the discount cruises out of the port of Miami. Thinking of a 3 or 4 night Bahamas or Carribean escape. Wifey really wants to go to Alaska next June but that will be a major hit on the wallet so might not have money for any mini escapes. Might have to save it all for the big one. Thinking of going on a 7 day Alaskan cruise and a few days in Denali and another National Park. Any way we do it we'll probably be checking out Alaska for our celebration of 30 years of marriage. We take a nice vacation on the big ones. 20,25,30,etc.

That's right cause all 15 of them have been hangin' in the closet since 2003. I haven't even worn a F'in pair of Dockers since then.

Oh, Marcus, I've done that. Not with a 16, but with 8's and many times with 18 gauge brads, and once I shot myself in the palm with an 18 gauge 1/4" crown staple 5/8" long.

Required a bit of surgery to remove that one! Still I love nail guns. You just have to be "mindful" of where your hands are.

Sooooooo I got to tinker with the car...installed a fuel pressure gauge on the rail and found low pressure. I'm gonna verify it with a second gauge I have. That could be my idle issue....the saga continues.

My fingers are bleeding.......from hand sanding, really getting tired of this.

Took a break and rebuilt 2 door hinges.

The only good thing that happened is that my 401 statement came, jumped up $15k in 3 months.

A few years back, my sister and brother-in-law went on an Alaskan cruise. They were out touring in a smaller boat one day, and someone exclaimed, "LOOK AT ALL THOSE BALD EAGLES!" My brother-in-law raised a few eyebrows when he said, "Yep, they're good eatin'!"

Well, I was right! When I announced that we had acquired the CNC router, my traditionalist said it was a toy that couldn't be used in "real" carpentry. So later when I went out to show them what it would do, he tried to bolster his position. But before the first toolpath had completely run, he said, Too bad it can't make a curved piece of trim or something useful." I told him it could do his curved trim and cabinet parts and just about anything he could think of. Before the second toolpath had completed he was thinking about things it could do.

Still not sure that he's totally convinced, but I'm making headway with him. The others were really impressed with what I was able to do in such a short time.

Doncha just luv stuff like that
I didn't get a good haul at Lowe's but went to a friend's for a beer and ended up taking some stuff home... took him my circular saw, the one I ran over the cord on and he took it and removed the blade, put it in a Skillsaw and gave me that instead. Then sent me home with a socket set, he had an extra one and a Sentry safe to put stuff in, a patio umbrella he wasn't using, has me a gas weedeater that he's gonna get going for me, just needs new gas lines, and three little bit sets for my drill and some foot long springy thing that I can use on a driver or my drill to reach screws and stuff in awkward positions. I needed that two weeks ago. now I have one, probably will never need it again, and I got a package with a dozen locks in it for stuff. And a quart of apple pie moonshine... I guess I made a pretty good haul...
