Record albums have surged in sales as audiophiles seek the delivery of music through the stylus of a turntable. There are MP3, cd, cassette, reel to reel and of course, albumen.

The closing of the house is scheduled for today at 03:30. Barring any last minute screw ups, this should wrap it up. It ain't over till it's over and checks are in hand.

Hidey-ho! It's 30 degrees warmer this morning than it was yesterday - the first day in quite a stretch where the temperature is above 0. Naturally, we got a little blanket of snow to unbalance my chi. This, of course, caused Neanderthal commuters to employ a death-grip on the steering wheel.

Keep the shiny side up, Gurus!

You know the problem with this is that it makes too much sense....don't be here illigally......like the arcticle said they are having to do this because the Fed's are not doing anything about illigals being here in the States. Hell, just open the gates and invite Mexico on in why drag it out.....I still think we should take a team of Seals and take over Mexico and get it where it needs to be then they won't have to escape anything.......It's a good idea......Seals against the drug cartels....that would be a quick fight.....

Mmmmm it's too early for a full blown rant so I will go back to my regurly schedualed program.......

Went by the house to see if sonny-boy had cleared his occupation of the front swale. Nope. He's still hanging tough. Called the non emergency police number and two cars responded. They said because there was no threat of violence he was not blocking the street and was parked on the right of way, there was little they could do. They suggested to have the new owner call if he was still there after the closing and the new owner could have the cars towed if he was still there. He told police that he was going to move the cars. I've heard that before. He told Sue and I he would leave after he saw the closing papers, after it was a done deal. I have never encountered such resistance to anything as I have with him. Passive, non violent, I will not leave. He must have read the Occupy handbook or something. Looks like Sue and I will be enjoying his future inheritance liberally. Maybe even give some to people more deserving. This is near the close of another chapter. Soon it will be over. I hope and pray it will be over with today. Closing mojo requested.

WHAT’S NEEDED IS A WELL THOUGHT OUT GUEST WORKER PROGRAM THAT DOES NOT ALLOW THEM TO PLUG INTO OUR TAXPAYER FUNDED GIVEAWAY PROGRAMS. THAT WOULD BE A TOUGH ONE TO WRITE AND THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST PARTY FANTASY OF MILLIONS NEW WELFARE VOTERS WOULD HAVE TO BE OVERCOME. (I HAVE A FANTASY OF MY OWN: AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION LIMITING THE SUM TOTAL VALUE OF UNEARNED BENEFITS FROM ANY AND ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT TO LESS THAN THE TAKE HOME PAY FOR A SINGLE PERSON EARNING THE MINIMUM WAGE.)

I AM PRETTY SIMPATICO WITH THE MEXICANS & CENTRAL AMERICANS. WITH THE POSSIBLE EXCEPTION OF CALIFORNIA, I THINK MOST HAVE NO INTENTION OF STAYING HERE. THEY JUST WANT TO MAKE ENOUGH FOR A NEST EGG THAT WILL LET THEM LIVE DECENTLY AT HOME. THEY COME HERE TO WORK AND WE SHOULD BE HAPPY TO LET THEM. BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE THE PROTECTION OF THE LAW TO PREVENT EXPLOITATION.

OTHER GROUPS PRESENT DIFFERENT SITUATIONS. THERE ARE ALREADY LEGAL PATHWAYS TO CITIZENSHIP THAT SHOULD BE ENFORCED, ALONG WITH BORDER RESTRICTIONS. THE WHOLE WORLD CAN’T LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES.

We're cooling down tomorrow, temps will drop to 64.

You'd think that when you buy expensive aftermarket suspension chit, that everything would bolt on easily - NOT.

We redrilled the shock towers on the Mustang to relocate the upper control arms to the Shelby specs (lowers the front end).
The large bolts on the control arms are welded in and when you put the control arms in the bolts hit the headers , they also hit the headers in the stock location. So cut 1/2 in off the bolts.

Then the clearance between the headers and shock towers is only enough to turn a wrench 1/8th turn from the top then get under the car to do a 1/8th turn and on and on.

The song is over ...... The house is sold. I showed sonny-boy the bill of sale and reluctantly he moved his truck and car off the property. It's been a bitter sweet day. I'm glad the house is sold, I'm happy about the outcome. I'm not happy about how my son suffers from an unseen enemy. The villain that lives within his mind. What's done is done. A new chapter begins. I can only hope and pray he gets the help he needs voluntarily. There is a chance that one day he can return to a somewhat normal life. He has put Sue and I through hell and back. Something inside of us compels us to try and help him. I'm sure we will keep trying but how we help in the future will come under great scrutiny. We are friends with the family of the young man that bought the house and he has extended visitation rights to us and invited us to stop by the house when we want. We have a lot of memories stored from over the 27 years we lived there. Now someone else will get to create new memories through the years ahead. Hopefully they will nourish the same warm feelings that we experienced. The house, like us, is a survivor.

Congrats, Tommy - a new chapter begins.

Neat-looking suspension bits there, Bill - an install such as you described is always fodder for the invention of some new kind of tool ;-)

Evening, got the teeth cleaned and xrays done. No problems found. Been watching the videos of the NCM collapse. It's heartbreaking. I think the 40th that went down was the ZR1 that struck my fancy when I visited the museum back in 05.
