Good Morning CGs!

I will try this again!!!

Once the kids get up, I am taking them to a picnic the next town over where their grandparents live. It's a free thing put on by the police department and local businesses. There are rides, games, food, etc and you get to see police cars and whatnot. The kids love it. Have to get there early for the t-shirts and tickets for hot dogs before they run out.

So an update to the idiot neighbor story. Idiot neighbor's son comes over yesterday with a chainsaw and a ladder. No safety equipment or anything like that. No mind you, he looks like he's in his late 20s or 30s. Starts going at this tree like a wildman with no rhyme or reason. That's the first time the trunk fell while he was under it. Luckily it only dropped about a foot and was caught by the roof. He stares at it a while (like when guys open the hood of a car but still don't have a clue) and then started cutting some more. More cracking of branches, doesn't phase him. They he climbs the ladder under the overhang for the rear porch and starts cutting. Big crack and the whole thing comes crashing down about 12-15 feet missing this idiot by about 6 inches (while he's on the ladder). I watched that as he stood there with a dazed look on his face. He worked on that tree about 4 hours at least and it's still only 60% cut up and there are branches all over the yard. A pro crew of two guys could do the whole thing in 1 1/2 hours (no joke). So I guess when it comes to idiots, the apple doesn't...wait for it...fall far from the tree

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning guys...no golf today as we have to check out and head home. The weather here is about the same as it has been all week. Very cool this morning, about 47 or 48, partly cloudy to the south and mostly cloudy to the north, and must be pretty humid right now as the car looks as though is is raining, such a heavy dew.

Lots of people are killed trying to take trees down, Matt. That guy was lucky he wasn't one....I guess he's not finished yet, huh?

Well, Rosie has breakfast ready and then we have to load things up. Have a great day guys.

Summer here today they say, mid 80s and lots of sunshine. No plans here on my end except maybe being outside in it. I need to do something with my chin spoiler I busted but thus far I've not found my self so motivated. I have been trying to catch a mouse in the house but yet unsuccessful. I have reset a couple of mouse traps, they took my peanut butter. I hate setting those things, they scare the sh*t out of me... I'm afraid they'll catch me and not the mouse. I do think I set a record for sleep last night too - didn't get any sleep Thursday night, so went to be at 8:30 last night, got up at 7:30 today. Need to do that for about two months straight.

Ya, mechanical mouse and rat traps can be tricky. I don't particularly care for glue traps. Rats and mice don't bother me as long as they stay outside of my perimeter. Glue traps IMO are inhumane. They catch the critter and starve/dehydrate them to death. The mechanical traps are quick and effective in most cases. One docile rat that snuck out from under my Jacuzzi lost a front leg in one trigger. A month or so later he came back and took the neck shot. We have these huge toads here that are poisonous to house pets when licked or bitten. Sue likes to bag them and slam them into the ground till they're unconscious then trash em. I usually relocate them but the humane way is to bag em and freeze em. I ain't putting no damned toad in my freezer. Low temps put them to sleep then they freeze to death. .......... Critters ............

Hidey-ho! I started off the day on the right foot - actually more like the right pillow, since I slept until 10. The weather geniuses are calling this a "Top-10 Weather Day", so I hope they are accurate for a change. Looks like I should make a few laps around the estate with the lawn mower, then this afternoon we'll be off to dinner before heading over to the McCartney show. Looking forward to it, should be fun.

I like the old-fashioned traps the best, too - fortunately I haven't had to use one for a while.

Have a good day, yawlz!

I think you will really enjoy the show Brad....so far I think it has the Guru Stamp of approval....

I use the Dicon yellow boxes placed in out of the way places no fuss no muss just mice that die without me having to deal with all the emotion and gore.....I know it works because the boxes empty out after a while.....unless its like food for them now.....hmmmm

The only thing with the yellow boxes is you don't want them dying in a wall, under a porch or in the attic. It'll give skunk spray a run for the money. I once had to bury a rat that had died in a water bucket and sat for a couple of days. YOW!

There used to be a band in Delaware called Tripping on Rats.

They "evolved" into Hot Buttered Elvis and were a riot to listen to. Many wasted Saturday nights.

V grind it. throw some SEM on which sets in 5 min.

If it's off the car, the repair takes about 15 minutes.

Colored duct tape as a temporary fix? Tacky, but might blend in ok.

I'd drill a few holes and wire it together first.

V grind it. throw some SEM on which sets in 5 min.

If it's off the car, the repair takes about 15 minutes.

Ya'll forget I busted it clean in two? and garbeled up the front? I'm more thinking I need a new one. And it pulled from my bumper and ripped it too I just noticed.
Am in NO mood to fk with it. Still no mouse in any of these 5 traps either. two snappers and three glue ones I've set out. Be my luck one of the damned things will go off in the middle of the night and I'll either find myself tangled in the ceiling fan or in the floor. Or both.
Tried to go get my nails done, they're bad, have to redo. Soak them off redo. Get a pedi while I wait he says. No I says. Yes he says, long wait. Fine. I was in that place three damned hours. I HATE gettin' that crap done. Somebody ask their wife what it is about that crap they like? Same with shopping. I had some of that to do also and skipped it. Hate that crap too.
Started a fire outside and made me a burger patty and cooked it out there . At least there was no toad in my freezer. Am familiar with the dead venison smell in one tho. My ex could not for some reason quarter a deer or skin one, and he managed somehow to kill one - very LARGE one, 12 point.... he put it whole in the freezer. Then wanted me to get it out and do it all for him. Got it done, put it back. Idiot unpugged freezer to move it one day and didn't plug it back up. We figured it out a few days later. Lot of wasted meat.

Well, we made it home on one stop. 6 hours and 10 minutes. I offered to stop several times, but Rosie said she was OK, so I kept my foot in it. Got home, unloaded the car and still made it to church. It hot here, was 57 when we left Pagosa Springs, and 89 when we got home.

No, it was real racing and no drunken idiots in the grandstands.

Ah, no Letty.

But I cut the front fender and the wheels off the 67 and glued that back together...............did take a bit more time though,

The Mercedes we just did had 4 inch breaks and some other small ones, the outside lip need filled in and sanded.

If U don't want to mess with it...don't.

I look at it that my time is worth $50 per hour and a $500 air dam = 10 hours. I could fix the dam in 1 hr. plus $25 worth of epoxy.

I'd rather fix it just not sure I could with it in to complete pieces plus then the front woukd need filled and sanded. I do need to at least get it off there but I've no way to get under it at home. Easier if bumper comes off
...isn't this what husbands are for? I need to go buy one of THOSE

Why not? When it's time to heat them up you just pull them out of the freezer and throw them in the toadster.

I LOVE IT! A POP-UP TOADSTER, NO DOUBT :-)

If you would like one, they have them at Bass Pro Shops in the hop-up toadster section.

If you did a half hour on the track and only turned left, that sounds like nascar to me.
