Morning guys... Cold start today. I get to take #2 GS to the dentist. Then I'll come back and work on some projects in the shop.

Greetings! It's gonna snow a bit later today, NK tested a hydrogen bomb and the market's in the crapper. But the sun is almost shining.

Good Morning CGs!

Still no package tracking update, Tommy. Why don't you make a few calls for me

Dad had a successful doctor visit the other day. New doctor to the practice, he's young and seems very smart (I hope). He seemed genuinely interested in helping. Today the home healthcare is arriving to do a home visit and evaluation. I'll be over there for that once I drop the kids off at school.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Making a call would be futile, Matt. It could be lying in a supposedly empty sack and not get back into the mail stream until the sack is reused. Might have been crushed by a forklift or the address label distorted from being caught in the rain on a platform. Then it would be sent to the dead latter office in Atlanta to see if they could identify the owner. Check out the package when you get it to see if there are any address or processing abnormalities. How was it sent, Priority? First class? Standard mail? Go to the Post office and inquire. See if it's on the rack (delivery attempted). Sometimes the package notifications get missed by the receiver since they are smaller than a letter. Other possibilities ... dumped in a dumpster by a lazy mail carrier, stolen, spread across a highway in a tractor trailer wreck, delivered to a neighbor in error and other reasons too.

Was a toasty 29 when I got in the truck to leave for work this morning. Somehow have managed to get myself onto a schedule of waking up at about 5:30 for no apparent reason no matter what time I go to bed. My alarm is set for 8:15 so we have to make an adjustment one way or another. Have some new things to work on at the graphics shop, rolled out a Freightliner the other day and a Kenworth will be going home soon. Not sure who put the word out for me to do big truck cabs but those things are a PITA. So far have had two Macs, a Kenworth, and a Freightliner or two. Makes owner's huge new house payment and installer is buying a bigger newer house soon, so you see who makes the big bucks... not the designer lol...
Happy Wednesday y'all.

Depends on what lifestyle you're looking for Marcus. Stay away from the big cities. Central Florida off US 27 offers small town living. I like Naples on the lower west coast. It has everything you need and the further you go from the town the more space you get for your money. Just don't go so far out that you live in the Everglades. Naples is 2 hours from me. Check it out. If you want to live like a good ol' boy, North Florida Panhandle is the place to be, up there near Jo-ja an Alabam. Three temperate zones in the state. Of course, I live in the tropics.

Tommy - priority mail 1 day

Probably fell off a conveyer belt and got lost/damaged. Usually my luck, especially when I get a good deal on something.

1 day

That would be Express Mail. Expensive, insured and tracked. Priority mail is insured and tracked also. 2-3 day average.

Ah, that pic is inside Joe's shop. We picked that car up 3 weeks ago.

All he's working on now is the 68, 435 horse, putting in a new clock & radio.

But he's kicking around the idea of yanking the LS3 out of the splitwindow and putting either a LS7 or a LS9 or a LT4.

He had it for sale at $38, it needed suspension bushings carpet, radio & clock repaired, Engine ran good.

Paint and interior were pretty nice,

But how many numbers matching 435's are you going to find?
