Pre vacation prep in progress. Lots to do in a small window of time. Get to do it all over again upon return. Whoo-hoo! At least we can escape for a week. Leaving on Monday.

In Florida News .....

This morning Sue killed a Black Widow in her truck. The spider had captured another spider and was dragging it to it's lair up by the rear view mirror. Florida is home to such a wide variety of exotic species. So many that you become immune to the danger posed and just destroy or relocate the offending party. Hopefully before then inflict any damage.

Now ........ On with the show .....

Happy Friday! Semi-sunny for now, but rain is coming later. I won't bitch, since we have no black widow spiders. That I know of, anyway.

Meanwhile, perhaps I'll move to Switzerland:

Have a good day, Gurus!

Morning guys...Made it here to KC later than normal as I really couldn't drive my "normal" speeds pulling the trailer. Ready to get started setting up "shop" in the garage. Better get to it.

Have a great day.

Remodeling #1 kitchen. Will start the tear-out today. The Caddy turned out good. In person it had a few dings that didn't show in the pictures, but it will be a nice car for him.

Trailer backed into position. Now just unload the tools and get shop setup.

At noon today I leave for Delaware. Time to watch the grandson graduate high school. Got the 'vette all shined up last night and it is ready to roll.

Looks like someone had a good day on the water. Wonder what they used for bait.

I usually don't tow over 75 mph, but it does make coming down off Donner Summit interesting.

It's fun watching the Ca. flatlanders run 85 on the downhill straights then, slam on the brakes to slow to 65 for the corners. Guess getting passed in a corner by a truck & trailer puzzles some of them.

Now, if Ca. would just get rid of their stupid 55mph trailer speed limit...............

Raining cats and dogs here. All day and all night and all day tomorrow, ugh. What a mess to come home to after being in beautiful sunny weather all week.
Been helping get his Mustang ready to go racing this weekend, trailer loaded all that gehaw.
Then was dragging out parts for the 68 Vette he's redoing - he really needs to sell it.
Speaking of cars... those of you who might be near Arkansas June 14-18 this is usually where we end up:

enjoy your pre-weekend day all...

Assembled the upper cabinets, demoed some in the kitchen. Worked my arse off, and put a kink in my back. Not a great day overall. I'm stressing a bit about getting cabinets in by Wednesday. SIL wants to tear the floor out too as we go. I've got some uppers torn out and a bank of lowers and one more lower out. One small granite top and one big one out. I guess I'm doing OK.

The big dumpster is supposed to be here today, but it isn't here yet, hope it comes pretty soon.

It got hot here today, humidity just about kills me.
