Hidey-ho! The Vette is back in the garage, supposed to rain later. It could melt, ya know. Mrs. Pianoguy tells me she heard we could have dewpoints in the 80's next week. Tommy-like weather.

Hope you're feeling better, Marcus - no fun to be sick when traveling.

Have a good day, all!

I'm up and at 'em already. The AC worked great last night and I slept way better in my own bed. But it will be short lived, as we are headed back to KC tomorrow. My lovely wife decided that beings we missed #3's move we should go up and help with getting the house set up, take some stuff up that we were storing for them and basically, get in the way... No grass growing under my feet this month.

That means I have to get around today to gather those things up and get them loaded. Taking #2 and #3 grandsons with us. Today is #2's birthday (15 years old), so for part of his present, I am taking them to the Royals game Monday night, while we are in KC.

First thing on the agenda today is to get 007 cleaned up after our trip and get him back up on the lift. Rejex works wonders on washing the bugs off the front end. 95% came off with just a jet stream nozzle on the hose. I did that much after we got home yesterday. A good vacuuming and apply another coat of Rejex to the nose and he'll be good to go.

Matt, I hope that you'll get some relief after having that polyp removed. Doesn't look like it will be too invasive...out patient in the office? It's amazing what they can do with micro-surgery. Bill, you pace yourself. I don't want you overdoing it. Tommy, enjoy the time off, Oh sorry, I meant don't overwork yourself while Sue is away. I do hope she recovers quickly. Gris, play nicely while your other half is away. Brad, I see where you guys had a little moisture....don't drown

Good Morning CG!

Just sitting here waiting for Tommy to show up and clean the house. His picture yesterday was too appealing

I was planning on taking the beast out to a car show last night, got rained out pretty good. Oh well. It was Corvette night, too. Not sure if there is a make up date in August or not.

Hope everyone out on the road has safe travels.

Hope everyone has a great day!

CLOUDY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS, HAD A LITTLE SHOWER EARLY THIS MORNING, JUST ENOUGH TO SETTLE THE DUST. SUPPOSED TO GET MORE LATER, SO I GUESS I'LL PIDDLE AROUND INSIDE, MAYBE LOAD SOME AMMO, CLEAN UP MY NEW ALADDIN LAMP, TRY TO WORK A NAP INTO THE FRENZIED SCHEDULE.

I started the day with a clean sheet of paper titled "to do list". The only thing on it was possible haircut.

Then I got an email from Julian (the guy I race with).

He just got back from France, went for a week to the LeMans Classis, vintage race cars at the 24 hour track.

Guess I'll play in his shop today.

The Formula Atlantic has a problem we've been chasing in the fuel system wiring.

He bought some tires for the Ford GT40 (hard to find) and now it won't start. I might get to drive it today, never drove a right hand drive car before.

And a guy is bring his Pantera over for a front A-arm modification to increase the camber.

Bought some new shoes for my 911. Went with the BF Goodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2. Bought them from Sears on sale and saved $90. Cost me $374 out the door after taxes. Good write ups except people say they're noisy. I think the engine/exhaust sounds should pretty well negate that. My Porsche mechanic will mount and balance them for me at his shop. He told me he flushed the 911's tank but it's still acting up a little. Fuel pump has already been replaced. Gonna change the plugs and check out the part that distributes the fuel to the cylinders. May have some $#!+ in it. I really need to drive my cars more. It's not that I don't like the cars, I just don't go anywhere too much anymore. Being a pack rat I just hate to part with anything. I really need to get out more.

Matt ....... I'm on my way.
