Good Morning CGs!
Welcome back to reality folks, it's Monday! How was everyone's weekend? Anything exciting? I did a little snow shoveling and last night we went out with the in-laws for dinner. Not bad overall. We had some snow on Saturday. It amazes me how stupid people are. Now, you have to figure if you live in Chicago you should be used to snow. But every year without fail, idiots still drive like idiots, and cause crashes. I saw at least 5 cars/trucks in the ditches along the highway Saturday morning before 7 am. Ridiculous. People irritate me. If the ground is icy, slow down. Nope. Not here. Ugh. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew |

The same idiot drivers effect happens here in SoFlo only with rain. It doesn't rain for awhile then you get a good downpour. Idiots drive to fast for conditions and there are wrecks everywhere. Looks to be a nice day outside today. Going to see the Doc later. Maybe have to stay home for a week to rest up a little being sick with allegies and flu for the past 3 weeks. Sick sucks.

Sick does suck. Hope you feel better soon!
When it rains here, everyone freaks out. It is rather dangerous when it first starts raining - all the oils on the road and such. |

WOW GLAD U GUYS GOT THE SNOW MATT WE GOT FREEZING RAIN GOT TO WORK OK WHEN I GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK I STEPPED ON SOME ICE AND FELL ON MY ASS OUCH MY FEET SHOT FORWARD AND I FELL BACKWARDS IN THE OPENING OF THE DOOR JUST GLAD I DIDNT CRACK MY NOGGEN ON THE NERF BARS OF THE TRUCK ID PROBALY WOULD STILL BE LAYING THERE WELL HOPE YALLS DAY STARTS BETTER THAN MINE HAVE A GOOD ONE GURUS

I'm trying to remember why I live here - 3-4 inches of snow coming today, highs in the teens for the rest of the week after today. At least the Vikings were able to narrowly avoid being the Lions' first victim of the season, so there is some joy in Mudville. |

The only redeeming part of when it snows in the south is being entertained by the clueless idiots who can't drive in it. One morning after a fresh snow, on my road (which is barely over a mile long) there were 5 vehicles in the ditch between my house and the main road. Most of them were 4WD too.
 We've had several mild winters in a row here, so I'm betting we get pounded once or twice this year. Snow's just a nuisance, it's the ice storms that I hate. |

Phone rings, systems are down Stumble twords computers, trip over cat Get up - keep heading for computer, turn on computer Go to sit, damn near sit on cat Boss calls - "Do you know that the systems are down?" - duh Fix systems - Yeah Me Now all I have to do is get geared up and take on the Monday morning traffic!! Woo Hoo..... And so another week begins....... |

Good Morning Gurus!!
It is colder here than I remember it being before in December, but I guess I have a short memory. No work on the Vette this weekend. I spent time down at my newly aquired sailboat getting it ready for winter. I still need to pull the outboard off and bring it home, but its pretty much ready for hibernation until March or April. I'm home sick today, but I got to get my butt moving and get into work after lunch. Work has a way of getting in the way of having fun. |

Of course she was TALKING ON HER CELLPHONE I call that justice LOL A dusting of snow this weekend. Bitter cold this morning. Suppose to be in the 60's Wed, go figure! |

Short week for me...finally. Work today and tomorrow and on vacation for the next 5 days. When I come back its pretty much a regular week then the following week is day on day off plus normal 4 day weekends which will end up being 5 day weekends.
