Good Morning CGs!

Well, the weekend is here for most of us, huh?

Gotta work today and run some errands. Need to stop by HD and get a plumbing hook up for the sink. No biggie. Couple other little things here and there.

Took my wife's ring to the jeweler yesterday to get looked at. Last week or so she snagged one of the mounts and bent it slightly. I was able to push it back in with my thumbnail, so I know that's not a good sign, lol. Jeweler told me one of the mounts/prongs was broken, and if she snagged it again the diamond may have fallen out. Ouch, that would be an expensive lesson. It was a pricey ring. Was $100 to fix the mount, but I know the jeweler so I only paid $50. That was nice. As long as it's fixed. I'd never hear the end of it otherwise!

That's it for me. For anyone who didn't see Pappy's post, he lost his dad the other day. Best wishes to him and his family.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I'd like to get one little project done without having to go to HD 2 or 3 times, Ha.
I'm putting new carpet on the stairs today. I hope I get it done without too much bleeding, damn tack strips.

I slept in, and am now trying to work up the ambition to install my new header gaskets. My wife told me she heard we were going to have a high of 9 degrees in a few days, which made me want to go into a coma.

we will say a prayer for pappy's family.

I lost my dad just a couple of years ago and still miss
him dearly.

my car, "oprah moneypit" is in chicago, spending the night
with Marc Haibeck, he is doing a little tuning to her.
I should get her back in a week or so.
I've been cleaning out the garage, so it's nice on her
return, it's finally starting to warm up here in mid missouri, i can hardly wait for summer.

Regards pappy.

I washed up the 91 to take it to a car show tonight. Not to show, just to go. Well sure as shootin somethin happens. There is a direct fused line to the fuel pump off the battery. That sucka keeps blowin the fuse. There was a 25 amp fuse in there. I put in a fuse and it melted to the fuse holder. Cleaned it up but I got a short somewhere. Good thing I have back-up rides. Cleaned up the 83 911 to go in it's place. Hamburgers, fries and a side order of with somethin to wash it down is the game plan for tonight. Going to say hey to a few mofos who are prolly wonderin where I've been.

Hey guys, tired after work. Got some grub and gonna tinker with a few finishing details in the basement. It's 98% done except for carpet. I'm glad. Looks good. I'll get some pics next week.

Later.

Sorry about your dad Pappy, played golf today since the yard doesn't need mowing. Nice and windy down here. But warm.

Sounds like maybe the power line is pinched somewhere and grounding out.
