Good Morning CGs!

Man, got a good night's sleep last night. Went to bed early, slept well - can't beat it.

Happy Friday to all your schmucks, I still have to work over the weekend. Carpet is coming next week so we still have to paint the base trim, but I have to fill the holes first. That and I still have to go back to Menards and see if they have the pole wrap in stock. Get some more paint, too. My day is never done, huh.

What's everyone else up to?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

HOT CHICK FRIDAY!

Happy Friday!

Man, I know what you mean. It's nothing like being able to sleep through the night! The baby has finally (almost 2 yrs old now), finally started sleeping all night! What a relief!

Not much planned for the weekend-which is ok with me. I might put new carpet in the sunroom, or, I might not!

Did get the Vette running again last night (ecklers managed to send the right part this time). She fired right up, so that's a relief! New MSD coil looks purty spiffy in there, I must say!

Hope everybody has a good day!

As usual, Nice selection of HC'S!!!

This should be my last Friday with my unit! Thursday is my last day next week. That is all Dependant on me clearing. This weekend I will pick up my arcade, cant wait! Looks like rain tomorrow but the weather changes more here than any where else I have ever been which is to say the weatherman/woman SUCK!!! Every night I check the weather before I go to bed to see if I can ride in the next day, then I check it in the morning only to find that it is a completely different forecast then the night prior! So I will check tonight and see what happens for tomorrow but it looks like I will pick it up on Sunday.

Happy HCF! I didn't sleep worth a darn last night, looking forward to putting a dent in my nap chair after work. Good to hear that your car is running again, David!

Mojo to those affected by flooding in North Dakota and northwest MN - man, what a mess!

I hope so for it being available but yes, got almost 100 GIGs of movies and about 50 GIGS of music then all my games. Between that, going to the gym and all the missions, I should be quite busy.

Good Morning Gurus!

4" of snow on the ground, and moderate snow falling. We could get another 4" today.

My wife made it from her hotel to the training store in Denver, about a ten minute drive on a good day, without incident. So that is good news. I think they got about a foot of snow up there.

There's a mountain pass between her and us, so we'll see if she attempts to come home today.

My mom's place is in Grand Forks, ND. So I'll have to catch up on the flooding out there. She is supposed to leave here on the 31st, but not if she cannot get to her home, or if her home is flooded/gone.

Enjoy your day, folks!

Sounds like everyone is keeping busy. Just finished my workout and paying some bills online. Then it's time for din-din.

Hey Chris, how do I get a mountain pass between me and my wife?

Ok, weather report changed again, 4th time since I checked last night. How do these guys keep their jobs? Is it standard to be wrong all the time? Anyway, looks like a green light to pick up tomorrow morning round 8 am. Means I have to wake up at 5 am and hit the road. On a good note I will have it for tomorrow. Might BBQ for dinner depending on weather which will change 3 times (forcast).

Got the insurance check for my body work.

Snow stopped, wife is home.

My mom talked to someone in Grand Forks, ND who said the crest of the flood is due there on the 31st. That is the day when she was supposed to go back. So she is preparing to stay with us for another week.

I pray it doesn't go down like that. I need her outta here. She has already been here too long. Faaaahhhhhk!

I like the 8-day forecast. They couldn't even get the 5-day right. I guess that is weatherman logic.

I was painting two coats on the front door today and the weather stripping was tattered. So off to Lowes I go with a peice of the old stuff in my pocket.
Being a typical male I look for it myself without asking for directions. Everybody working in the store is either bullshitting around or having a work related conference. I find the weatherstripping in 20 different configurations but none of what I have in my hand. I bypass the cheap shit and grab some that looks like it will work just fine. I apply the self adhesive strips, Looks good...... Close the door and it isn't wide enough. So off I go for my second trip to Lowes to get something that will tighten it up. I find something that will work.
Hey! Whats this? It's the stuff I need to weatherstrip the door. The other stuff cost me 11 bucks. The stuff to make it work another $5. Or........ Buy the right stuff for $5 a peice (3 needed) and be done with it. I bought the right stuff. Tore the other stuff off. Cut and installed the strips and Voila. Done and done right. 11 bucks worth of useless weather stripping now in a bag because I hate to throw good stuff away. Maybe I can use it for something. And I took the ever popular 2 trips to the home improvement center to do a simple job.

Our local weatherman is in the corvette club. They always have their show early in the year. Last year it was snowing.

Last weekday of my week off. Boo Hoo!!!! I played golf sunday thru thursday and didn't get rained one once (even though it was a 60 % chance). Rested today, cause the rain kept me from going to the Spring Nationals here in Baytown. But I'm going tomorrow, meeting friends and tailgating. It will be a blast. Ah nothing like the smell of nitro in the morning !!

Get yourself one of these - we have one, and it's more accurate than the yutzburgers on TV:
