Ahh, the ever-popular Virgin Mary grilled cheese sammich!

Last time I tried to make one, I was accused of using the smoke alarm as a timer.

I actually like a grilled cheese sandwich using wheat bread, velveta cheese sliced thick cooked in a single pan and flipped so it melts evenly. Brown as little or as much as you want in butter or margarine. I like it with a handful of crisp (Cape Cod) potato chips and two dill spears. MMMMMMmmmmmmmmm. Delicious...... Quick and simple. Even a Guru can do it.

Yeah baby, I'll even dip my grilled cheese into the soup.
Wife thinks it's disgusting, I love it.

You could have French onion soup. That's just onion soup with a grilled cheese sandwich thrown in.

Been awhile, but I usedta make them with Italian or French bread, and Mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle some garlic salt on top, and dip into a little cup of spaghetti sauce nuked for temperature.

But I am not known for my taste.

Damn that looks good. I think I'll make one.

I don't have gourmet cheeses though and an olive oil spritzer. That poser ain't no bachelor. Who grates cheese while hungover at 3 a.m.?

My mother would use mayo on the outsides, the mayo gets grilled off and just leaves the shortening/oils.

I'll give it a shot with mustard.
