this is what happens when you are traveling on the interstate at 70 mph (that's the story I am sticking to) and the SUV in front of you runs over a piece of semi-truck tire debris causing it to go airborne and land conveniently on the nose of the vette.... good thing I was going to have the nose repainted.... insurance took care of it, estimated damage 1800 bucks.... had a guy spray the whole thing with 4 coats of clear for $1850....

yeah I believe it is better than new... it is better than the paint job I had about 3 yrs ago, and much better than the paint that was one it when I bought the car 8 yrs ago... can you say pleased? The guy did an awesome job....

thats an ongoing list... my turn signal stalk stopped working last week..... and I hear a ticking or tapping sound at idle, not sure what that's all about....

Wow, btdt. How far behind him were you following?

I try to hang back further on my bike because one of those gator treads would definitely take me out.

I was about a two and a half car lengths, cause the debris had enough time to fly up in the air about 5 or 6 feet but not enough time to land back on the road, I slowed when I saw the stuff pop up.... since then I am giving cars like 4 car lengths or more to prevent the front end from being chewed up from rocks or whatever else is being kicked out from rear tires....
