Good Morning CGs!

Well, I'm a little tired this morning. Made it home from dinner last night a little bit later than I wanted, only about 45 mins or so, but that makes a difference. Had a real nice time, though, and got to hang out with some friends I don't see that often.

It's Friday for me and I'm looking forward to my weekend.

How is everyone else's week going so far?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good morning! I managed to get through golf league without getting wet, but a chin-strap was a requirement if you wanted to keep your hat. Like every week this year, I threw away one or two strokes per hole with my miserable short game, but tied my match.

I had e-mailed Ion at madtuner the other day to ask him about my scan results. He replied last night and suggested that I swap my old fuel injectors back in. So I did that last night, and the long-term fuel trim numbers went way down, and it doesn't stink to high heaven at idle now. Car seemed to drive a little smoother on the way in this morning - gonna scan it again when I get home tonight. I had been thinking about taking it up to Doug Rippie's shop, but maybe that won't be necessary. I will have to find out what's up with the injectors, though.

Have a good day, everyone!

I feel for you Brad. I hate it when your trying to do the right thing and it comes out wrong. You'll get it straightened out soon. After all, it's just a machine. Almost everything I do, I try to do the right thing. Unfortunately for me, I'm always wrong.

It's going to be hot here for the next 5 days, 96-99. At least there's no humidity. Throw all the windows & doors open early to prechill the house with 55 degree air.

Same for me today as yeaterday, more flooring. I went to Home Depot to look at transitions, wood floor to tile/carpet/stairs and they sucked. They overlap the hardwood and look like chit.
So I'm making my own out of solid oak.

Nice being 'back in the saddle'

Brad, glad you're making progress, you'll get it figured out. What injectors did you put in? Tommy, you can't always be wrong. Bill, that's the way to do it. The best way is to build it yourself...looking good there and you'll be much more happy with the results.

We had a nice supper with the grandson(s) and a small party for his birthday, then we came home. We were both tired and went to bed fairly early. Today I am building cabinet doors, hopefully it won't be too hot, my shop gets almost unbearable in the afternoon, I may have to look into AC for it.

Nice work, Bill!

Tom, the injectors I had were the Bosch Stage III's - I installed them last year and they were great. But for some reason they are not getting along at all with the HotCam, so I put my old Multecs back in for the time being.

Good morning Gurus!

Today is the second anniversary of my Corvette purchase!

Unfortunately I don't think I'll get to drive it.

Wife and kids got home yesterday after their 4 day trip. It was great to see my kids again, but my wife and I started going at it within an hour of getting home, so I left and spent the night at a buddy's house. I've never done that before.

Why can't we all just get along? Sheesh!

Ah well, it will get better one way or the other, coz it can't stay the way it is.

Enjoy your hump day, Gurus!

Good Morning GR's!

Whuuda morning....
Guess this is one of those times when the 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all' rule comes in....Blechh...
It is a nice day, only 82....better enjoy it while it lasts..
I've had the top off of the vette for 2 weeks now, a new record for me! I'm going to hate to put it back on..

Chris,
Happy 2'nd Vette anniversary! Mine's coming up in Dec..

I sure hope things get better at home--I'll keep y'all in my prayers..

I was at that point last week, and it's not a good place to be...

My friend (yes, that's 1 (one) friend!) lives in Tn, so taking off wasn't really an option. That's definitely a downside to being a loner...but, that's the way it is..

Hang in there Brother..

My mother told me many years ago that when you get to the end of the line, you'll be able to count your friends on one hand. That was hard to imagine as a youngster, but the older I get, the more that rings true.

Good morning, Gurus!

Wow, tenor of today's posts are kind of a downer. Hope everyone's day ends up better!

I've had a crazy couple days, and am glad for a mellow Wednesday. Got a couple phone meetings and some documents to work on.

Happy Wednesday!

I bestowing my stuff at my friends place too every now and then. Marriage is a give and take. Most times it's more give than take. Did I say that? Back to the doghouse.

At least I'm in good company!

I also value quality over quantity in friends. But that may be forced upon me due to the fact I am an asshole. (or 62% douchebag)

Hope everyone had a good day so far and are having a good evening. Made it official today and signed the papers to get mom's house listed on the market. I will be glad to be out from under it. Been busy last few days trying to 'finish up' putting her things away here and getting me back together.
Plus, it's been an all out - crappy last few days at work. I'm bout ready to walk out. If I had another job I'd be out of there like my ass was on fire.
Can I have one of those asshole merit badges? I've earned it this week so far hehe

Good to hear your nearing the finish line. Hang in there - I'm sure there will be a day of reckoning for employers who make life miserable once the economy turns around ;-)

Would not be so bad except they have learned to use the 'bad economy' excuse to look for reasons to ditch good workers for shitty-lower-paid ones to replace them with and as an excuse for no raises, etc.
