Good Morning CGs!

Man this week is dragging on. Is it over yet???

BIL did a little sanding and priming on the entertainment center yesterday. One half of it is primed now. He's kind of taking his time and working at a slow pace. No big deal, I don't have to do it - HA! Should be nice once completed.

Hopefully I can spend some time on the intake manifold this weekend. I have to pick up a couple little sanding flap wheels I think, but nothing major. I have most everything else. It's also the MIL's bday on Friday, so any plans I would have Fri evening are shot. Oh well. Such is life.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Got a pretty nice tan this week working outside for three days. Now comes two days with a 70% chance of rain. That's a 90% chance I wont be going out much today. If you think that means I'll be sitting around ..... WRONG! Plenty to do inside too. Just have to choose something ......... or not ...

Tommy, I have a shower that needs re-tiling if you're not busy.

I concur on the week going by altogether too slowly.

I agree on the dragging week. The video shoot that was scheduled earlier in the week got postponed until today and location has been up in the air for days.

I seem to have lost some air from my sails that I had earlier in the week, so I hope to find another breeze shortly to get me moving again.

Quick story

A young kid was riding by on his bike and my wife was in the front yard. He stopped and said to her "I really like your cars". So she said to him, "One day one of these cars could be yours". He looks at her and says "Really?" Start saving your pennies right now. If you get some extra money, save it and one day one of these cars can be yours. The kids eyes were aglaze. He rode off but now he has a mission.

Yea been a looooooong week. The wife has been at the youngest daughters house since her having the baby. Got to admit it, I miss her. She won't be home until Sunday afternoon....late. I'm getting tired of eating frozen dinners, and it's pretty quiet around the house in the evenings. I even vacuumed the house yesterday, tonight I am probably going to dust. I really need to run the washing machine again, running out of underwear.....man, the little things that we take for granted....

Only good thing is this is the last day for students this week, end of the grading period so we have a work day tomorrow.

I'm in the middle of trying to turn my Snap On puller into the Kent Moore LT1 crankshaft puller.

Went to HD to get 3, 7/16th-14 bolts. Freelin' HD doesn't even have one 7/16th bolt in stock. They have 7/16th threaded rod but not one damn nut to fit it.

Yup this week is dragging big time. I woke up and thought today was Wednesday. I agree with TB, the things you take for granted that the wife does. I've been haveing to do that for a while now. We got a chance to have some time together last week. I miss her already. Suppose to get some rain today and tonight. At least it isn't freezing out. Lets all hope tomorrow is better.

Take what for granted? Have you read any of Matatk and my posts on housecleaning? Guess I know now why you stay so busy with projects.

No old mom & pop hardware store around? I have a great one downtown that has all the stuff the big hardware stores doesn't. LOL, Yes, I read your posts, just don't have to do those things...normally. So, yea when I stay so busy with my cabinets, I don't have to do those domestic things.

Bill, that pizza about killed me the other day..... And I wish that I still had my K-M puller, I'd send it out to you. Heck Don used it while he had his engine apart. But after I sold the 94, I sold that puller too.

No, they've been all run out.
Reno's a small city but thers's 6 HDs, 3 Lowes and one ACE(where I'm headed this a.m.).
There used to be a Supply One that had 2 freekin rows of nuts & bolts, any socket head cap screw you wanted, etc.

I'd uderstand if I was looking for some off the wall metric bolt but, no 7/16th course thread bolts? Give me a break.

Ever read mine?

The trick with washing machines is to buy one months worth of socks and underwear. And if you have 4 laundry baskets, you don't even need a dresser to store the clean stuff in.

Greetings, Gurus!

Yay, for Thursday. I only have a lunch meeting today, and then Friday, nothing on the calendar.

Gabbycat just walked up - I think she's ready for her lunch.

You just don't know how much anxiety you saved me when you shipped me that puller. My wife was blown away that a total stranger sent me a $300 tool to borrow and return it when I finished at my own pace.

I think she thought I secretly bought it and was hiding the fact from her... He He... Not this time!!

Sometimes you just have a good feeling about something/somebody...that's the way it was with me lending you the puller. I'd do it again, if I still had it.

I agree as well with the long week. Well, just this day of it. Spent Sunday through Wednesday morning in Florida nosing around. Came home last night. Worked the part time job today. Didn't think it would ever end. But on a lighter note - for you guys - I was allowed to spend nearly two hours sifting through our online art service looking for hot blonde chicks... yes most were naked.... we do vehicle wraps and the owner wants his redone.... I had no idea all that was in there. He made sure to tell me to click "OFF" the 'safety search' so I'd get more hits.... Hmmmmm
Then came home to do more work for the paper that let me go in December, 'cept I make more per hour at it...
Bill - can you have someone bring one of those pizzas here?
And Tommy, I dont' have work for the house that needs done, but if you can come get the dishes I'd appreciate it

Ha, we deliver. The "overnite" shipping is a bit pricy.
Might be cold when it gets there too.

So, you'll just have to swing by, just a short trip in a C4.
