Good Morning CGs!

Well, back to the daily grind for me. Not excited about that, but oh well. Our new phones should be in tonight, so I'll swing by the store and pick those up. Then I'll be in the 21st century with technology. I've always used my phone as, well, a phone. Now I got one of those smart phones with internet and whatnot. We'll see how it works out.

Got to tinker with my buddies MIL's C3 last night. Felt good to play with a corvette after the winter. Puts me in the mood to get crackin on mine.

Hope everyone has great day!

Matthew

Good Mornin' Gurus
Just got in the office and trying to figure out where I left off yesterday. I need some energy. Some of you guys make me tired with all the stuff you seem to get done. I promised myself this weekend I was going to take one room in the house each night and re-organize and de-clutter. Then I want to get some long deserved work done in some of those rooms. Living room still needs furniture two years later. I have a bicycle and home gym sitting in the middle of my living room. That's got to go and get some real furniture in there. The room is long and narrow with a dinning room at one end. In the photo I'm standing in the dining room shooting toward the front door. We now have a traditional dinning room set in the dining room, but I'm not sure what to do with the other half. Wife and I can't seem to agree. I'd like to just put a pool table in there!

Matt, if you need to tinker on someone's Corvette, feel free to stop by.

If you put a garage door in place of that window you would have the ultimate parking spot for the vette! might be single afterwards though...
seriously though I like that entrance!

on another note.. when it rains it pours. My bank has lost a sizable deposit. it keeps showing up and then disappearing. it was cash too . good thing I have the receipt. had the repair shop tell me " we think the .4 amp draw on your battery is the reason it is not starting after it sits 3 days , although it did fail the load test and should be replaced" WTF its a diesel it needs those cranking amps to get it started. I might have rode the bus .. but not the short bus. and so starts my day

I have a bit more casual day today. I have already got the tools put away from yesterday. I have to go up to the wife's office and look at a desk unit that she needs to have modified. Then I just got a phone call from a mom of a former student and she wants me to take a look at her computer. So I have a few things going on. I also yesterday another teacher brought their laptop by as the harddrive died and I need to install a new one and reload everything. I ordered a new drive but it's not in yet.

Greetings, Gurus!

I finished up my soup making yesterday - the last four - Beef and Barley, Butternut Squash with Bacon, Butternut Squash with Rosemary, and Fall Roots.

Today is a wrap up day of sorts as we get ready to travel to Florida. I need to figure out what work documents I need to bring with me on a jump drive to keep business humming along.

Gabbycat is adorably snoozling on the couch. She got a little agitated after this morning's earthquake. She seemed a big unsettled, and kinda roamed around the house for about half an hour before determining that all was okay and settled back to sleep.

Should be another beautiful day here, clear sunny and mid 70s here at the beach, and mid 80s inland in LA.

She was neatly dressed, but hirsute was covered with dog hair.

Matt couldn't find his suit so he wore hirsute.

Just got back from a long day in the Keys. Fished for a while, cruised the canals of the middle Keys checking out canal front homes, ate pizza, played poker. Tough day. Whew ....

You went to the Keys and didn't take me with????

Well, I know it's not Friday yet, but I have taken on a part time job much to the distaste of my therapist. Don't really need stress right now but need out of the house and gotta eat.
But, when someone asked what I did today, was strange to say "looked at naked women...."
But I design vehicle wraps and storefront wraps and thought you all might appreciate getting to see some of my work. This part of the 'wrap' went on the roof of a Trailblazer....
