Yea, I saw that somewhere else. When I was younger, heights didn't bother me, been up on some tall construction cranes, etc.
Now, I not all that wild about high places. But, somehow, ski lifts don't bother me at all. |

That's just some crazy stuff. I'm not afraid of heights but if I'm on the 25th story of a building and look down I can get the willies if you know what I mean. Those guys were 1768 ft up in the air. Just a bit higher than I care to climb. Oh yeah OSHA says its ok to "Free climb"! Not this guy. LOL

Yikes! I wonder how much those guys get paid? Would I climb it for a new Z06? Maybe a ZR1. I'm suprised that there isn't more movement of the tower at that height.

I am going to have issue standing up without my chair coming with me.
Sorry... whatever they pay these dudes just ain't enough. "... just another 60' to the top!" "... if a storm's blowing through, there is no quick way down." I disagree, there is a quick way down, but it is a one way trip. "... this is the tricky part; getting on top." HA! Ok... I am curious... what happens if the guy is up at the top, and just loses it. I mean flat wigs out and all of a sudden, the shear stupidity of his career choice hits him and BANG! deathly afraid of heights? |

My buddy got paid A LOT. At the time it was probably 5 times what I was making as a teacher. Only worked two or three days a week.
