Got this finished this week. I picked it up today. My buddy did a 3 or 4 stage paint detail...turned out great. Super smooth and shiny, even with my old paint.

A few shots from his cell phone:

I'll get some more pics from the driveway later.

Got all the pieces to do the rebuild. Waiting for my neighbor to be available to help me, I have to rebuild the compressor still. Hopefully soon.

Thanks. It's 20% tint. Limo is 5% and is way too hard to see out of. Plus it's a magnet for getting pulled over. 20% is actually illegal, too, but you can see through it. 35% front and rear would be legal here in IL.

Man, that is soooo coooool!
I really envy you guys, what you can do to your cars.
A tint like that would be perfect for me, since I have a hard time to control my fingers.

You can't have any window tint at all in Germany?

Only the rear can be done. As far the driver, the cops would still like to be able to count nose-hair while driving or at least see the bird while I am flipping it .

I know...yours looks so badass in person. But I think lowering it will affect driveability with the crappy roads here and I drive it every day so I don't want to risk that.

looks awesome!!!

I did a similar thing to my Prelude a bunch of years back. Looked brand new.

The only thing that will kill your paint, as it did mine, is when the clear starts to die on the bumper covers... ain't stopping that...

If you drop it with the wedges and bolts an take about 1/2" max out of it, the ride will still be nice and it will have that mean stance

but I understand the issue with daily driving
