Greetings! I'm finally getting closer to being done with my Christmas shopping - it seems to get harder every year. Always hard to nap with that hanging over my head, too. On the radio this morning they were talking about a new show that will debut on Discovery this week, "Amish Mafia". Sounds interesting, I may have to punch that up on the DVR.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Yesterday it was 65* when I got up, this morning it is 37*. Last several weeks it has been in the high 60s or low 70s every day. This week it will be mid to high 50s, but still above freezing at night.

Me too, one store, one item - easy peasy.

But I still need to pick up my Xmas beer.

Humm, 27 degrees, but it's always brisk ay 5,800 feet,

60 today, garage doors open.

Not so for the rest of the week.

Vizio one day report:

Pitcher's bitchin', way above my other Vizio.
On the older V, if you were 2-3 feet from it, the picture got grainy, this one doesn't do that.

I had heard about audio sync complaints in the reviews, the local news came on, it was really annoying waiting for the sound to catchup with their lips. I thought "This really sucks".
So, I went into the control menu and looked around, hummm, one slide named "Lip Sync" , set it to max. = no more problem.

Watchin' football on this thing is nuts.

I still have a lot of tweeking on all the color, etc. settings to make the pic even better, but I do have a copy of C-Net's suggestions from their testing.

I can't connect to the internet, think there's a problem in the cable box, gotta call Larry the Cable Guy.

You know, the high altitude sun is amazing. I wrote this @ 7:50, lect for the Post Office & some groceries.

Back home @ 9, it's already warm enough to work with the garage doors open.

87* .... I'm melting .......... Just got back from putting my BILs dog down. American Bulldog 11 1/2 years old with cancer. He had a good run. Saw a Pug at the shelter that my son would have loved but it's already flagged for adoption. Went and looked at all the puppies, kitties, dogs and cats looking for new homes. My wife has it in her head she wants a Yorkie. I said "NO dogs till these two are gone". I'm not a small dog guy anyway and they are yappers. She's a pain in the ass but that's nothing new. Went to a jobsite and saw what the customer wanted. Now I'm back home. It's too hot to work right now. Maybe it will cool off some by the time I wake up from my nap. Lulliby and good night, la,la la, la, la la, la ........

Don't tell me it's a dog cause I ain't buying it.

And a Pug? Get your face a foot and a half in front of any Pug and you'll be covered with snot.

Good thing I vacuumed the other day.

People used to make fun of me for drinking Busch. Fact is, I like it.Even Busch NA is my preferred favorite. I've drank beers from around the world and gone through different brands. Many because of what my wallet dictated. Michelob was pretty good too. Cool, crisp, light, refreshing taste is what I like. Too much flavor isn't really a good thing if your gonna down a dozen or more.

Pabst is another beer people like to make fun of. You can tell a lot by what beer a man drinks. You could say .... we're frugal.

The yahoos that put the sidepipes on the car just hacked off the rocker cover brackets. I had to use a cutoff disc on mt grinder to even them up.

And I didn't want to leave rust on the top of the brackets so, I hand sanded them and put a cost of rust encapsulator on them. Nobody will ever see it but, I'll know it's there. Almost ready to paint this crap.

Been somewhat a productive day at the office for a change. All those Sonic windows are done, couple wraps in the works, now to get the bills out for it all. Headed to the gym when I leave here then the nursing home. Have to pick up some chocolate cakes for her, they moved her into a semi private room today and she is pissed off. She knew it was coming but she still mad as hell. I was hoping to go home after the gym. It's freezing here and I really didn't want to be out all sweaty and cold and wet and crap and tired. then bath, then take out the trash, then figure out what to eat, then figure out what to bring for lunch tomorrow, geez.....
Of course, today was my Monday...

To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. My wife in her infinite wisdom thought she would be nice and fly in our niece, husband and two kids for Christmas. I was not at all in favor of this and voiced my opposition. They're her miles and she built them up with the company so she can spend them as she wants. All I can say is I won't feel the least bit guilty in pissing my next couple of grand to the wind. After all I deserve it and if she doesn't like it. TFS. Wait til she see's the credit card bill. I'm gonna put more than a couple of surprises on it. Besides, it will help me build up my credit card miles.

You could put a set of C5 tires on there for $626 plus around $50 or so shipping to my address -

Oh ya! That would go over big. Especially when she'd ask who'd you send that too. I was thinking more along the lines of $500 on my boat trailer. $500 in the gun shop. And another $1000 for my work stuff for the house with a sudden burst in indiscriminate spending. You know. 100 miles drives for lunch, gas for the boat, bait and long days away from here with my phone in the off position. I'm going to the trailer shop and boat shop tomorrow. Fuggit.
