I picked it up with 11,600 miles on it, 05/Z51/6-speed/1LTB

HOWEVER< the guy put GS stripes on it and it is NOT a GS, I like the stripes after seeing them, but, would I be considered a poser or do I let'em ride. ?

Very nice!

If you like the stripes then leave them who cares what anyone else thinks? Look at how many c4's have grand sport decals on them.

More important than the decals though is how is the driving experience?

It drives very nice and I plan on putting a CAI on it, already has a Catback, then get a tune, and if it is close to 400 at the wheels, I'm done with this one.

that's what they all say... next year you'll be sharing with us your shiny new Magnacharger.

As for the stripe, leave it. They are "GS" stripes, but they also look nice on all Vette's, because they do pay homage to the original GS.

I have white one's on my 92... and they look fine (except the vinyl is getting all stained).

It's just a stripe. If you like it, leave it. It's not like anybody put ZR1 badging on it. Congrats on your new ride. Enjoy it.

OK, overcast and raining outside, took off work at noon, but I washed with blue dawn, then use the clay bar, then used Z5 for 3 coats with a 40-60 minute delay between & then the Z6 spray at the end, a lot of work but the paint is much smoother, I don't have swirls so that saved me one step

while i was waiting for it to dry I installed the Neo iPod adapter, 6000K low beam bulbs, no big deal at all, added all LED interior bulbs and of course, the latest version of the GM Nav DVD arrived today, , most importantly the new FAST 102 LSXR Intake arrived yesterday

Going to Bloomington Gold Saturday/tomorrow
