He tore his quadrecep in his right knee. He had surgery on Monday to repair it. He should be getting released today and rehab is expected to be about 3 to 6 months. Sue went to the Dr today to have her MRI read from before we went on the cruise. She has a torn quadricep and is leaking fluid from behind the knee. It is creating a large cyst on the side of her right knee. Surgery will be scheduled and is suggested to be SOON. Rehab immenent. I guess she's going to try to get the jobs she has scheduled done before going under the knife (or laser). Nurse Tommy will once again have his hands full. Maybe I should stock up on meds now. This is just about the middle of the day in the middle of summer. It's hot and sunny. After I came inside I realized this would be the perfect time to take a nap. When opportunity knocks you have to be ready to seize the moment. Knocked off a sweet two and a half hours with my head planted comfortably into the pillow. We have an officers installation banquet tonight being held at the local country club. Looks like that'll be about it for today. I'm gonna DNBS. This morning I sent a link to my son from DR Phil's web page. It was all about parents responsibilities to adult children.

I think I'm gonna need some ..... I neglected to pass along some mojo earlier - doesn't sound like much fun. Speaking of piddling around the house, my MIL's husband has started exhibiting that behavior. Yesterday's visit to the doctor indicated that a move to an assisted care facility is in his future.
