Good morning gang.

Yes it's hump day. So lets get the day started.

1. to add at the end, as of something said or written; append.

2. to place in sequence or juxtaposition to something else.

A U.S. citizen is vacationing on his own in Ireland. He decides to play a round of golf and is paired with three local gents. He takes a few practice swings, steps up to the first tee, and proceeds to hook the ball out of bounds. He shakes his head, reaches in his pocket, and re-tees another ball. He tells his playing partners that he is taking a Mulligan. He pounds one down the center of the fairway about 280 yards out.

With a big smile, he asks the others "In the U.S., we call that a Mulligan; was wondering what you called it here in Ireland."

After a moment of silence, one of the locals replies, "Hitting three."

Greetings! I imagine someone will be out playing golf today - heat wave here, gonna be sunny and 43. And maybe near 50 tomorrow. That's more like it. I am hoping the trees drop the rest of their leaves over the next day or two so I can get out there and clean them up before the temps nosedive again. I am ready to start my 6 months of no yard work.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Morning guys...early morning meeting again. Looked at some of the parent surveys we had out at P-T conferences last week. The higher-ups didn't like the form we chose, so they want us to do it over......sounds like busy work to me. All in all just BS. Wednesday mornings go by quickly because of the shortened class periods.

We actually warmed up more than they expected yesterday. But it's been a cold start this morning, even though they are predicting 60 as a high. Sun is shining and a light breeze.

Kids calling.....

Happy belated birthday to your wife, Matt, hope the kids get better...
Nice warm 23 out this morning, 43 for the high.
Boss and the gang up here yesterday got themselves in a mood, floor in a storage area and walls painted, walls someplace else painted, my lobby rearranged, apparently not dusted in 3+ years vacuuming, sweeping, all kinds of crap going on. Junk tossed in the trash then into the back of my truck included a machined aluminum top table, he kept the chairs, a nice are rug perfect for my back room and two very large black wooden frames I can use for prints in my living room. Plus his wife bought us all pizza and salad. Thanks to the dust stirred up I went home stuffy and slept till 4:30 and haven't slept since. This is beginning to be a pattern of waking up 3 hrs early - that's 15 hrs lost sleep during the work week. Killing my gym time and mood.

This reminds me of something in the days of old. In the military and USPS we had quality control teams that would routinely do inspections. You would always get written up for something. If they liked you, it was something minor. If they didn't like you, it was something that would be a pain in the ass to resolve. Kind of like cops on a traffic stop. Courteous and respectful? Warning or adjusted speed. Piss off the cop? A laundry list of issues plus a sad face on your ticket.

General opinion on Inspector/Officer Joe?

He's always nice to me .....

Or

That guy's an asshole.

Dude.....is that why all those Counties in eastern Colorado want to succeed from Colorado and be named their own State or at least be come part of Nebraska or Kansas? I'm thinking it might be a big part of the reason.....

Also the Colorado border towns are doing big business selling pot to folks coming across the State lines I am hearing. States like Kansas....Nebraskans don't do drugs.....Big Red it their drug of choice....and booze of course.....

Yes, they'll lead the nation in sign ups that succeeded, prolly get at least 11.

Colorado was my second favorite place to live for many years, but in the last couple years, it's just getting plain scary.

Closing the gap.

The amount of glass resin I'm mixing is way smaller.

I'm down to hand sanding the door jam and door edges (to prevent over sanding with the Dewalt and having to lay more glass....which I did yesterday ).

You can only sand 10 strokes at a time before checking the gap again.

And the lower portion of the door jam can't be sanded without taking the door off.
Every time you take the door off you have to realign it.

When the gaps are done, I get to address how flush the doors are to the body panels.

Maybe Colorado ain't all that bad.

Good Evening CGs!

Worked outside a bit today and it was freezing. Although it's fall, I decided to trim the peach tree since all of the leaves have already fallen off. They say it's best to do it in spring before the buds form, but spring around here is always unusual weather. I am not trimming the tree in February as is recommended with 2 feet of snow on the ground.

Had some dinner and we are going to Oberweis for some good ice cream.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Matthew

Evening guys...I was at school until 4:30 with a kid trying to make up safety tests (he got them done). Then came home and worked in the shop on the doors and drawers for some cabinets for the lady over in the "city". The two that I miss ordered are going to work in her laundry room. I also worked on a door for our kitchen closet. If you remember, I swapped out all the doors in the house with 6 panel Oak doors, except this one, because they would have to special order one in 22", $400. I purchased a set of shaper cutters ($200) and about $50 in Oak. Glued it together today after getting the panels raised today. Sanded it all and is now ready for stain.
