It should be sunny skies today with a high in the mid teens. Not alot going on here so lets get the day started. Word of the Day Thursday, December 12, 2013 lipogram\ LIP-uh-gram, LAHY-puh-\, noun; 1. a written work composed of words chosen so as to avoid the use of one or more specific alphabetic characters. Origin: Lipogram entered English at the turn of the 18th century from the Greek lipográmmatos meaning "missing a letter."

So much work on the computer, designing stuff for the CNC and designing projects, my eyes have gone crazy. I've actually had to use my glasses. My days of denial might be coming to a close. Supposed to have a MS faculty meeting this morning, but I've had enough of the early morning meetings for this week. They can send me the notes. I still need to get to school though. Cold here today again, 7 right now but headed for low 40's and we have to travel to watch #2 play ball tonight so I'll check in sometime later.

Really helps with the cold and drafts. Probably a 5* difference in their rooms now. A big improvement. Itching to do some work in the Vette but I don't expect that to happen until after xmas. I did ask for a breadbox delete from Santa so hopefully that is under the tree. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew

It was 50 degrees when I got home from school, sun was shining, so I decided to take the Corvette. I hadn't started it up in almost two months, so the tires were a little rough riding for a bit, but well worth the trip. It was 24 degrees when we came out and got down to 17 once on the way home. #2 GS (Middle School) played well but lost. #1 GS (high School) was playing in a early season tourney, played early and I couldn't get away from school to go so we had to watch and listen on our way to the other GS's game. Trailing by as many as 11 in the third quarter, they came back and tied it up at the end of 3. Then back and forth in the fourth quarter they went ahead by 9 but with 7 seconds in the game the other team throws in a trey to tie the game. The ensuing inbounds play saw the ball go to the other end where my GS had the chance to win the game, but he missed the shot....but one of his teammates was there to tip the ball in at the buzzer for the win. The team they beat was 6-0 and ranked in their class in Oklahoma. Wish we could have been at that one.
