Good morning gang.

Cold here again. Temps in the low teens. We are suppose to have a few snow showers today.

Lets get the week going.

Morning guys....a busy day ahead. Last two days before finals. Lots to get done. And #1 & 2 grandsons have ball games today (#2) and tomorrow (#1). Todays game is an hour and a half away. Tomorrows is just an hour drive. Wednesday we have two Christmas parties to attend. This week will fly by, I'm guessing.

Hidey-ho! Gonna be summer-like today, high of 23. It'll feel good after the temps struggled to get above 0 yesterday. We're easy to please up here in the Great White North.

I struggled with my old tile saw all day yesterday - even after a new blade it isn't cutting well. So I ordered a new toy last night:

http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-D24000S- ... TF8&qid=1387199568&sr=8-2

Have a good day, Gurus!

Good morning, all.

Quite cold for the Philadelphia area - 21 degrees in the 'burbs this morning. Took the new Impala (Frankie) in earlier today to get the performance snow tires swapped on. Ivelis says that'll make it stop snowing: I told her that then she will achieve her objective ...

I used a $59 wet saw from Home D on 5 projects so far, so $12 per.

I'm sure it could do a few more but my next tile job will never happen.............

Morning all......chilly here but warming up some today. Yesterday it got to the high 40's so we cooked some burgers on the deck grill....it like flipping off winter when you do that.....

Today work and shopping for Christmas...shopping is work for me but I better get some things for under the tree...a week from Wednesday is what I hear....

Here is an interesting fact....the State of Florida is know as the Lightining Capital of America. With 25.3 bolts occurring over each square mile each year....thats a real shocker. Most lightning bolts measure 2 to 3 miles in length and can generate between 100 million and 1 billion volts of electricity. The air in a bolt is heated to 50,000 degrees F. I want to know who counts all those...
Tommy....don't go outside...

Also the State of Kansas has the windiest city in the US...and its Larkin Kansas......just kidding but its close....its Dodge City. The avg wind speed there is 14 mph every hour of the year.....

Navada is famous for the longest Corvette restoration project in history....but the details were sketchy...

Get your shopping done Guru's and lets be carefull out there......

Work, work, work. Todays objectives, cut grass at the nurseries, put up temp fence at the house to pen the dogs during he party, other stuff. Full day ahead today and everyday this week. Tomorrow I'll be at the other house piddling while the A/C guy performs his magic and hopefully the appraiser will come by. Friday I head to Bradenton with a return trip on Saturday. My Yukon should be done later today, so I''ll pick it up from the body shop. I have new headlight, marker light and rear tail light houses to swap. Waiting for my new dash cover to ship. I think I'm getting a better idea of why I'm always working. It keeps my mind occupied and I don't think about stuff I don't want to think about. When I found out my brother died, I got the call at work. I stayed at work and finished out the day. The reason I think I did that is I just didn't want to dwell on my brothers passing. I'm getting a better understanding of the meaning of workaholic. Have an issue? It's time to get to work ......

2 million lightening bolts hit the earth every day,

In 1934, a wind gust of 231mph was recorded on Mt. Washington

But, more importantly:

•Farts are created mostly by E. coli.

•On the average a fart is composed of about 59% nitrogen, 21% hydrogen, 9% carbon dioxide, 7% methane, and 4% oxygen. Less than 1% is what makes them stink.

•The temperature of a fart at time of creation is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

•Farts have been clocked at a speed of 10 feet per second.

•A person produces about half a liter of farts a day.

•Although they won't admit it, women fart as much as men.

•Termites are the largest producers of farts.

•Farts are flammable.

•The word "fart" comes from the Old English "feortan" (meaning "to break wind").

•Excess gas in the intestinal is medically termed "flatulence."

Some people, including women - do not fart, more like they shit their pants... in public... smells like somebody did in my office... I'm normally not here on Mondays but am going to start coming in during the mornings on my off days. When I arrived today, my door was unlocked and open, the computer was left on and I knew the boss had been in here messing around. I think he pooped in here somewhere. He has his own computer - two of them and his own office - not sure why he needed this one for what he left on the screen....
Due to be warm here today so I got the Vette out - Rain coming Friday so it goes back under its blanket...
Happy Monday!

FARTS ARE ALSO VERY CROOKED; MOST ARE AIMED AT THE GROUND BUT HIT YOU IN THE NOSE. RESEARCH ALSO INDICATES FEMALE FARTS ARE SMELLIER BUT MALE FARTS ARE LOUDER.

An elderly couple was attending church services .

About halfway through, she leaned over and whispered to her husband, 'I just let out a long silent fart. What do you think I should do?'

He replied, 'Put a new battery in your hearing aid .'
