where is everybody?
Office till noon here, then the dreaded Wal-Mart adventure for some things, grocery store and couple other places, and get the air tank out for the Vette - all my bells and whistles are going off - drove it yesterday and the tires are square and I have low tire pressure warnings in all but one. Went to get a soda next door at Sonic and I could no longer clear the curb. I only keep about 40 in there anyway but guess it's under 35 as it's triggering the warning system.
Sunshiny and 50 today here and all this week - snow due again Sunday.

I kinda slept in a bit, now I have to take 2 cars in to get the oil changed. Followed by more tile work. This DNBFS is clipping along at a torrid pace.

Morning Letty.....I put 40 lbs in my GS tires over the winter while it sits a lot...

Supposed to be almost 60 here today so some Corvette time is in order.

I took it out last night and tried out the new CAI and I think it helps....I know it helps with the sound factor...when you hit around 4K on up it sounds like a pair of Quadrajets are on wide open....really cool and we were going really fast......big smile on my face as I cranked up the sound on Take it Easy by the Eagles....it was just what the doctor ordered....

Today I head down to change the oil in the beast. I bought 2 five quart jugs of Mobil 1 5-30 for 25.17 each at Wally world....that's 5.03 per quart.....which beats the $8+ that they charge at the shop I go to.....I spend enough money with them each year they let me get away with it.....I use their front end rack to change the oil on. Works great.

Better get with it good weather is hard to come by around here......

Brad it may hit 20 or so in your country better get out and do some grilling on the deck......

Morning folks...I too slept in and then took my shower. The guy that checks moms' pacemaker batteries was here then telling us that the batteries were still good for a while. They've lasted 5 years so far. Rosie, her sister, daughter and niece are all off on a walk. It's upper 30's right now headed to 60. Supposed to be 65 tomorrow and then the cold air hits and will only be upper 20's on Sunday.

I was elected to go to Wichita on the 31st to pick up the grandson and his GF. What the h3ll, it's only 4 hour drive, both ways. That will take care of New Years eve afternoon and evening. Flight is supposed to be in at 5pm. I should be able to make it back before the big drop.

Hey guys, it's been a nice day here. Got another nice visit in with my little brother and his wife. Found out they are going to sell her moms car, a 96 Mercury Grand Marquis with 70k and decked out with nearly all the options. I'm thinking buying it for the grandson to use. If we can work it out I'll drive it home Sunday.

Tonight we have a birthday party for for different family members, all have the same birthday 12/28. They range in age from 5 to 29. Just another reason to get together to party.

Got the oil changed in Quicksilver and took it out for a nice drive today.....it was over 60 here and everyone was out doing something it seemed. The car wash was backed up around the block.....

Late greetings. I picked up the Yukon today and it looks pretty good. Real good actually. Everything was acceptable so I drove it home. Got an oil and filter change on the way. Driving it to Bradenton on Sunday.

We were busy all evening getting MIL acclimated to the laptop we bought her, so we missed the game. Looks like it'll be at least 109 years now :-P
