Good morning gang.

We got a little bit of snow last night about 4 inches worth.
Today it should be sunny with temps in the mid to upper 30's. So all that snow we just got will be melting away.

Word of the Day Tuesday, February 18, 2014

bestiary\ BES-chee-er-ee, BEES- \, noun;

1. a collection of moralized fables, especially as written in the Middle Ages, about actual or mythical animals.

Origin:

Bestiary is from the Latin bestiaries meaning "a fighter against beasts in the public entertainments." It entered English in the 1620s.

Good Morning CGs!

Tommy came over twice yesterday and brought about 6" of snow with him. I heard the plows out in the afternoon and evening so hopefully the streets look good. It only took me an extra 25 minutes or so to get home last night, not as bad as I expected. When I got home the driveway was shoveled so that was a nice treat. Wife started it with the snowblower and then gave the neighbor boys $10 to finish it. Good deal if you ask me...lol. So I ended up having some dinner and hanging a shelf as my chore.

We are supposed to get to 43* today, don't know if that will happen. Hopefully, then maybe some of the excess stuff will melt away.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning guys...early morning meeting again today. This time to go over "Quiz Bowl" questions for the middle school quiz bowl we are hosting today. So I'll be busy after school today. it was beautiful yesterday and the temps are supposed to be warm today, but the wind is supposed to blow, 20-35. I need to wash the pickup and the Caddy.

I have guarded optimism about my elbow. It's much better today already. puffiness is down, still a little sore and the redness isn't as red. Almost feels normal.

I'm still goofin around with TV choices, smart stuff, sound bars and routers. I'm close to making my decisions. Being the cheap miser I am, I'm trying to work around with clearance and sale stuff to get the most for my money. I don't mind being behind the times on tech as long as the final product delivers what I want. Other mind bending issues loom screwing up my productivity and creating distractions. As usual, I can only do what I can do. I bought and hooked up a cd player for the garage stereo. That will make working in that area a little more friendly. I can rock my life away while playing with the cars and tools. Went by the local Salvation Army Thrift Store and they wanted $26 for any of their used DVD/CD players. Paid $37 for a new Sony. Sounds and works great.

Nədirai-i! Barely sat down before a co-worker ambushed me with a problem that took over an hour and a half to solve. Supposed to be in the 40's here today, but it'll be all downhill from there.

We got a boot and repair store here that has been in business for decades. It's a Ma and Pa store and is one of the few left. They get stuff in to fix from all over the State...it's getting to be a lost art.....up here leather boots are still in style for manly footwear.....

Just got back from measuring an upstairs space for our Supt. She and her hubby are wanting to convert it to an apartment. I volunteered my drafting/design class to come up with some ideas/drawings for them.

We have a boot place in the "city" which repairs boots, chaps, saddles and other leather goods. We still have lots of cowboys out here who need that service.

Sun is out here again today, feels like summer. Nice yesterday too but windy. Wish I was off to enjoy it. Was so happy to see some sunny, warm weather finally. But, alas - due to be highs in the 30s-40s in a couple of days. I'll take it while I have it.
Slow day at the office - was up early finishing a side job for the paper this morning. Hope I'm done with that. Seems at the office now we're into tent printing. This should be interesting...

In order for more people to have access, I've uploaded my SolidWorks model of a C4 suspension (late model) on 3DContentCentral

http://www.3dcontentcentral.com/parts ... x?id=443356&catalogid=171

It is to model the pickup points to study rollcenters, anti-dive angle etc.
It is NOT meant for component fitment
Some parts are greatly simplified Links are modeled as rod ends as I have rod ends on my 1995 Corvette

I'd also uploaded a model of a C3 Stubaxle

http://www.3dcontentcentral.com/parts ... x?id=442353&catalogid=171

GOOD DAY TODAY. GOT THE TRUCK WASHED, THEN HAD TO CHECK OUT A C4 SITTING IN A DRIVEWAY. WENT AND KNOCKED ON THE DOOR; THE OWNER TURNED OUT TO BE THE POLICE CHIEF IN A SMALL TOWN JUST NORTH OF HERE. LIKE MOST OWNERS OF OLD CORVETTES, HE WAS HAPPY TO SHOW IT OFF. 1994, WHITE, ALL STOCK, OBVIOUSLY VERY WELL KEPT, JUST OVER 100K MILES. HE SAID HE BOUGHT IT FOR 10K AND IS HAVING FUN DRIVING IT. ONLY PROBLEM IS IT LEAKS RAIN. IMAGINE THAT!

MADE A PASS BY THE JEWELER AND GOT DARLING WIFE'S RING FOR $450 OFF ASKING PRICE. I'VE GOT SO MANY FEMALE KITH AND KIN I'M LIKE A VOLUME BUYER FROM THIS GUY.
