Good morning gang.

Looks like we'll have a heat wave here today. Starting out in the low teens with a high in upper 30's low 40's with plenty of sunshine.

2. a misleading or unsound argument.

3. deceptive, misleading, or false nature; erroneousness.

5. Obsolete. deception.

Good Morning CGs!

Supposed to be a heat wave here, too! We hit 34 yesterday with sun, it was actually pleasant. I noticed the snowfall from Wednesday melting already. I'm ready for more of that.

Well the other day I patched a few spots in the drywall and painted them. Turned out well. So of course that got me and the wife talking and now come spring I will be repairing the wall in the living room the kids damaged and then repainting the entire back lower half of the house (kitchen, dining room, living room) along with the ceiling. I hate doing ceilings. Oh well. The joys of home ownership.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning guys....woke up early, so I decided to just get up. I can be sympathetic to Marcus, I kinked my back last week, went to the chiropractor Monday and lower back is much better, but the kink in my neck still has me turning with my whole body. I have an appointment after school today.

I'm posting from the new computer. Still need to import my bookmarks. Not sure why they didn't transfer.

Morning everybody....my back is somewhat better...at least I can get around some but was laid up most yesterday putting ice on it. May go back for another adjustment today but it can take a day to recover from those sometimes.

Got early morning meeting so will check back later.....

Enjoy your Friday Guru's....

I told ya'll I think someone performed a body swap with me in my sleep. They gave me a body with a sore lower back and a shoulder ache (from the neck to the shoulder). No use going to the doctor for me. I've had intermittent back pain for almost 40 years with occasional relief. Been to an acupuncturist, chiropractor and back specialist/surgeon that prescribed physical therapy. I was feeling pretty good for awhile. It usually falls apart when somebody asks me to move furniture, trees, boulders and stuff like that. I usually only move that kind of stuff when I absolutely have to move that kind of stuff. I think if your a man it's some sort of requirement. Hey, I need some help over here. Can you help me lift this? Sometimes it happens because of the business. There's a lot of heavy stuff in the landscaping/nursery business that has to go on a truck, off a truck and into a hole. What can ya do? We all just have to to do it. Tom with cabinets and lumber, Marcus with trailer loads, Matt with kettle balls (if he still does that) BillH with suspension and other auto parts, Brad with pianos, (he is pianoguy) and all you others I'm sure. Even Letty unless she gets a volunteer. Enough of the wah, wah, and time to get it in gear. Hot shower, some muscle rub and a new day awaits.

Good morning,

I am up early with nothing on the agenda. Just like I like it. The past two days the temp reached 51º. Really nice and we had a little rain yesterday morning. It is suppose to be only about 30º today, but back up to 50º for the weekend. Maybe spring is finally here. I can hear the BlueToy whispering take me take me as I walk by out to the old pickup. Have a good weekend everyone.

Happy Friday! The week has gone by faster than I expected, after coming back from vacation. I hope the snowbanks start melting soon - some intersections are downright dangerous. And the pot-hole crews are gonna have their hands full this spring.

Tom, I get a kink in my neck like that every now and then, and my trigger point book showed me how to get rid of it. It's a muscle about mid-back, near the spine. About a minute with my Thera-Cane and I can get rid of it pretty easily.

Hope your back gets better soon, Marcus!

Enjoy your Friday, Gurus!

IDIOT SIGHTING
I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee asked, 'Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?' To which I replied, 'If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?' He smiled knowingly and nodded, 'That's why we ask.'

Happened in Birmingham , Ala.

IDIOT SIGHTING
The stoplight on the corner buzzes when it's safe to cross the street.
I was crossing with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine. She asked if I knew what the buzzer was for.
I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red.
Appalled, she responded, 'What on earth are blind people doing driving?!'

She was a probation officer in Wichita , KS

IDIOT SIGHTING
At a good-bye luncheon for an old and dear coworker who was leaving the company due to 'downsizing,' our manager commented cheerfully, 'This is fun. We should do this more often.' Not another word was spoken. We all just looked at each other with that deer-in-the-headlights stare.

This was a lunch at Texas Instruments.

IDIOT SIGHTING
I work with an individual who plugged her power strip back into itself
and for the sake of her life, couldn't understand why her system would not turn on.

A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriff fs office, no less.

IDIOT SIGHTING
How would you pronounce this child's name?
"Le-a"
Leah?? NO
Lee - A?? NOPE
Lay - a?? NO
Lei?? Guess Again.
This child attends a school in Kansas City, Mo.
Her mother is irate because everyone is getting her name wrong.
It's pronounced "Ledasha".
When the Mother was asked about the pronunciation of the name, she said, "the dash don't be silent."

SO, if you see something come across your desk like this please remember to pronounce the dash.
If dey axe you why, tell dem de dash don't be silent.

STAY ALERT!

They walk among us ...... and they VOTE and have babies.

Try it on a mountain sometime.

Note: Check for snow first (if U can recognize it), yea, on sand it IS boring.
