To marginally crib Jimmy Buffett....

I am saying good morning and good night from the United Kingdom!

I am on a work project that has taken me to that far off and exotic land of Manchester, UK.

It rains a lot here. They drive on the wrong side of the road and things are soooo compact. Cars, roads, buildings, you name it, its shrunk to about 7/8th scale.

The folks are nice and I have had some of the best Indian food ever.

Flying from LAX is sooooooo far...

More updates later!

I'd tell you to keep a stiff upper lip but you do that naturally. You do know why the Brits call us Yanks; Right? Now, off you go. See if you can find some bangers and mash.

That's good since most British food sucks.

Hmmm - curry. That's what I miss the most! You can keep Manchester, famous only for its football team and the band Oasis. If you get the opportunity, take a ride up to the lake district - it rains even more there but the scenery is stunning!

I am heading down towards London (Great Dunmow, to be exact) on Friday night. My Aunt lives there and I will be visiting her and a number of cousins.

She is quite elderly and has dimentia... It will be the last time I see her, I quite honestly suspect.

Oh, it rained again.

Sweet. Let's trash the place.

It'll take him at least a week to get back here and bust some balls.

ok, Kevin... if that is your best attempt at trashing the place... you need to try harder.

It's raining again.

I will be heading out tomorrow morning! I have a flight that leaves Manchester at 0815, stops in London, then on to LAX. I expect to arrive at LAX at 1415, give or take a bit. Either way, the journey is about over.

See you all tomorrow afternoon!

I've never been to Britain, but it's nice to meet people from there. It gives me a chance to brush-up on my English.

So feeling the love.

Got back about 2pm PST yesterday. All went well. It was just a long assed flight. 11 hrs. marathon.

A little tired today, but not bad, all in all.
