The same idiot drivers effect happens here in SoFlo only with rain. It doesn't rain for awhile then you get a good downpour. Idiots drive to fast for conditions and there are wrecks everywhere. Looks to be a nice day outside today. Going to see the Doc later. Maybe have to stay home for a week to rest up a little being sick with allegies and flu for the past 3 weeks. Sick sucks.

Let's admit it. Many Americans have been living in a fairytale world fulfilling fantasy after fantasy for a long time without the financial positions needed to support their lifestyle.

Staying firmly in the 1950's... 1955 was unique in that both the V8 and I6 were available. The inline 6 was a 235ci iron beast... all 155hp of it.

How many 1955 Corvettes were made with the inline 6?

Ok... 1955 was the first year of the small block in the Vette. Great year... except I don't fit worth a damn.

However, from the outside, what is the distinctive visual cue that the 1955 Corvette you are looking at has a V8?

One theory is that the hurricanes are started by the flapping of butterfly wings accross the African desert and the resulting winds increase in power as they move west and accross the seas. Maybe we can nuke the butterflies.

One of the things I've noticed is it's usually some guy or lady in their 70s who is bedridden and living in a mobile home. So this might just save a few of them from going to an early grave.

I'm always having something fixed. Sometimes major, sometimes minor. Today she was complaining about the mechanics who work on the Vettes. She drove up while I was having a fuse replaced. When I brought it in the temperature control panel worked just fine. When I picked it up I started to drive home and it was getting cooler outside so I glanced down to view the outside temp. Blank. Nothing there and no power to the panel. So I bring it back to the shop with the old WTF it was working fine when I brought it in. Two of the guys start to troubleshoot it. One of them misses the blown fuse because of it's awkward location but they check all the power and relays and everything is lighting up. The second guy goes and reinspects the fuse panel and finds the blown 15 amp fuse. He tells me he thinks he's got it. On the other side of the car I'm catching and earful. You keep bringing it to these guys and you keep getting f~(%ed. They fix one thing and they break another. Why don't you just bring it to the dealer and pay a little extra? How much are they gonna charge ya to fix this? Huh? Huh? Huh? It better be for free. They're the ones who f~(%ed it up. Keep in mind that every job they do comes in between 1/2 and 2/3rds of what the dealer would charge for the same job. All I have to do lately is just mention these guys and it's like saying Niagra Falls.

I wonder if they have special parking for Corvettes.

I just had a new ignition put in with the appropriate resistence. Does the CCM have to adjust to the new switch? Is there any other reason why the security light might stay on after changing the cylinder? It starts and runs fine but the security light stays on after starting. They claim the dealer told them I should run it for a few days to see if the light goes out on its own. Is that plausable or am I'm just being skeptical?
