Good Morning CGs!

Hey everybody, thanks to all who participated in Trivia last night! It got off to a rough start (lack of participants) but picked up and we had a good time. Check out the thread when you get a chance.

Well, I'm still tired but I forced myself to get up. I couldn't sleep last night so I was up until around midnight. Problem is that I need to get up tomorrow at 5:30, so I know I won't be able to sleep tonight if I didn't get up now. It's a vicious cycle. Baby should sleep until about 9:00, though, so, I've got a few minutes to relax.

My back is pretty tight today after yesterday's killer workout. Combination of the squats and stiff-legged deadlifts did it. This afternoon's workout should loosen everything up.

What's everyone else doing today/this weekend?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good morning Gurus!

My day is not starting off too well. I have a production meeting at 10am. Looked at the clock on my wall wrong, and left for the meeting an hour early.

The clock on the van I drove to the meeting wasn't changed with daylight savings, so it only served to validate my mistake. So I'm sitting at a Booger King, nursing a chicken biscuit and some cini-minis, passing the time.

Other than that, it should be a great day! My mom is outta my house, Iget to leave work early, and it's Friday! W00t!

Peace out, Gurus!

Good morning, Gurus!

Yay for Fridays! I've had a ton of work to do this week, but I'm thinking next week will lighten up a bit.

I need to get motivated this morning. I want to head to some local Barnes and Nobles and try to pick-up the feb 09 Corette Enthusiast.

From there, I'm trying to decide if I want to put the headers from my old 72 C20 on my 72 C10. Long tube 1 5/8" X 3.00", with a nice 3" exhaust with an X pipe and large case mufflers. On the old truck, they were worth 1 1/2 MPG give or take vs the stock 2" manifolds and 2 1/4" pipes. The SOTP said they helped, but who knows. Definintely sounded better without being obnoxiously loud.

That's okay, I got your back. I showed up to work an hour late. So the balance of the world remains...

Yesterday I was watching Joe Rogan videos on Youtube of him ripping on Carlos Mencia and blasting mainstream media in general. Interesting stuff. I can't say I'm amused by his standup, but I like that he stands up for the little guy and says it like it is.

Matthew, go ahead and send the dollar. I'll PM you my address. With that said, the wife actually likes spam, and finds many creative ways to serve it. Some of them are palatable.

Good evening, got a lot of lake effect snow here, 18 degrees with windchill about 7. Mail box is still not replaced, still sick and home another day . I am 39, I have a 20 yr old daughter and 15 and 8 year old sons, and this morning I got the call.....I am a grandpa. A grandson, born at 10:52am yesterday December 4. My daughter lives just outside of Nashville TN. OMG I am somebody's grandfather . But a cool grandpa with a Corvette.

I don't have a picture today, sorry, but the ones posted are hot. Spam? :sign4: LOL, had spam and velvetta sandwiches grilled when I was younger, good eats.

Take care, Dave.
