The C6 Z06 brakes are the same as the C6 standard. Perhaps there is a brake upgrade option (or a new for 2011 system), but I guarantee it's not cheap. The ZR1 is a 6 piston caliper if I remember correctly.

Not everyone wants a C-5 some of us love our C-4's.

Now what little I know is the PBR J55 calipers are the same as the Mustang SN95 Cobra calipers.
What should I ask about the mounting brackets to determine if they would fit?

Yea I know get 6 pot calipers, etc, etc, etc.
But these are $600 vs $1600!

That sold for 19,309 for an 01 z06 with low miles. Great deal if you ask me. But 19 is a far cry from 13 when you are on a budget. That's like saying a 6,000 c4 is the same as a 13,000 c4...it's not.

Good grief, I see our guys changing rotors frequently and I have never seen them swap bolts. I did the last time because I replaced the bracket and caliper with the new GS units.

How many of you gurus change bolts every time? It also says to torque them to 165ft.lbs -- pretty stout.
