Just a few pictures from the last cruise night of the year at the Lake of the Ozarks. We all had a great time. Andrew, Tyler and I brought our C4’s. DB tagged along and took these pictures with my camera. We didn’t get any of our cars but got some nice shots of others. The first is a picture of my father’s 97 Porsche.

Those pics didn't turn out as grainy as you thought...not so bad at all.

That was a very fun evening with a lot of cool cars and good friends.

Thanks for sharing, and I'd love copies of those on CD.

Nice pics. Are the cops tough on front plates down there? I never see one on a vette around here. (chicago area)

DB,

Yeah they didn't turn out too bad after all. I have a CD ready for you. Also, did you get the stains out of your shorts from the ride in Andrew's '96?

We are required to have them but I have never had one installed on any car I have owned and driven, including both my current Durango and my Vette. I just hate the way they look on a front bumper and I really don't understand the importance as to why it's required.

In any case I haven't had any trouble and around here it just doesn't seem to be a big priority for the law enforcement.

There were no stains. I'm a man, and I handled that bull ride like a pro. Okay okay, I screamed like a little girl and urinated in my pants a bit. LOL.

I really liked that dark green firebird. Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it if DB ended up with a C4 after that ride in Andrews.

I had my plate cover on mine last night. They typically don't mess with you. I leave my plate on, and I am able to put the cover over it. This way I don't have to worry.

I had a great time fella's! Unfortunately, I don't have as much time to do this sort of thing, so this was truly a treat for me. It is rare to take a trip with a string of older Corvettes and it was nice watching the C4's on the road. Tyler and Curtis have very fine examples of C4's.

My favorite was that rolling piece of art, green Chevy II. It is visible in the background of one of the GT40 shots.

Matt, it was a pleasure getting more acquainted with you on the way back. I liked your ideas of an air box, so let me know if / when you want to start.

Curtis, your father's Porsche may have me hooked and thinking ........ This could get expensive!!

I think this is the car you're talking about.

Oh and try and get a Thursday off Andrew, and we'll make a day of it and figure something out with the air box.

Excellent - thanks much for sharing! That Nova was killer, indeed. I hope to return the favor - I'm thinking about going to a cruise-in next Saturday. I've been jonesing for some mini-donuts.

I just read this. Yeah, I now have some hearing loss and had to power wash the interior (all in good fun DB). Now you just need a ride in "good air".
