Good Morning CGs!

Well, we didn't get the 2" of snow we were supposed to last night. We did get 3/4 - 1" that made the roads pretty messy driving home, but that's cleared by now.

Not much on the agenda today. Gonna finish the base shoe and stain the molding some more, and then move furniture back. We might go shopping for a rug. Have to play it by ear. I can't wait til this project is done

What's everyone else up to?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

One small chore to do then I'm going for a ride. The local chapter PCA presidents wife called us yesterday telling us a party was interested in using our 1983 911 in a commercial. Were we interested? Hell ya we're interested. It's a paying gig too. I 'll let you know as everything progresses.

That's cool Tommy, go for a ride, have your car in TV commercial, and get paid for it....can't beat a deal like that with a stick.

Matt it's always nice to finish up a job.

Me...I'm going to start the next cabinet job later. This morning my middle grandson (8 years old) has a b-ball game that we will go to. Supposed to be a decent day today and turn crappy again tomorrow. Not sure I'm ever going to get my CAI kit on the Vette, or the top hats painted.

Holy Sheet! Talk about Snow!!!
Well Matt, you should be glad you didn't get what we are still getting. We have been pummeled with snow since yesterday at 11am and its still coming down pretty hard. I have 20" in my back yard but I hear that some areas have gotten 30" to 40" in some parts of West Virginia.

I shoveled an area on my back deck down to the yard and a 10'X20' area for the dog to do his business. The snow is significantly heavier than the past storms, so it will be damaging to trees and power lines. Knock on wood we have not lost power yet, but I have several friends that did last night for several hours.

Anyhow - I'll dig out later...

Tommy! I've read your posts before about your Porsche but never seen the photos. Nice car!!

Here's a few shots of my deck and backyard this morning.

Wet snow sure is heavy.
Good luck, you have 6-10 inches more coming thru this afternoon, sucks.

Yowzahhh, that is a lot of snow, Don! It's tough on trees and backs and hearts, too. Hope it melts soon in an orderly fashion.

Very cool about the commercial, Tommy - that'll make a nice momento. Unless there is a cliff involved.

I dreamed last night that I had the Vette out, and the snow was all gone. Well, that's not gonna happen today, but at least we didn't get any more snow overnight. Hope I can think about bringing it home in a few weeks.

Good morning, Gurus!

Long time no chat! I can't believe how busy I've been, but Andy does keep me informed!

I'm in a bit of a holding pattern on 4 projects right now I it's good to be busy when you're self-employed!

Don - holy cow, that's a lot of snow.

It rained cats, dogs and gophers yesterday. I think it was 2.5 inches just overnight, not sure what the tally was for the whole day.

Happy Saturday!

This last summer i sold my 4 x 4 truck, i now have 4 vehicles, wifey's won't go anywhere in the snow, the ZR1 is parked for the winter, and the XLR is staying put also.
so she and i are sharing the spare car, i am buying a pickup this week, frikkin snow...bastards ass

I'm at the office getting some stuff done before leaving for the Staples Center to see the Red Wings beat the Kings - a vendor got me a couple of tickets for the game in their exec box (VIP Parking and all!!)

Go Wings!!

Does that mean they may lay ppl off and you are a possible target?

Well, finally back home.

Even though my beloved Wings blew a 3 goal lead, the game was a lot of fun to watch; the suite was REAL nice (I could get used to that), and I love the VIP parking (right next to the center).

Overall - a great time
