Just wanted to beat Matt to the Sunday post this morning... Obviously way past my bed time.... Spent Saturday, working on both the mothers vehicles, replace the plugs on my mom's '06 Town & Country, and replaced the exhaust cat back on the Mother in laws '97 Grand Cherokee. drove my vette around the block today, and thought about waxing it.. so much to do, so much I want to do and not enough time for it.. Off to BED!

Good Morning CGs!

Geeze, Rick, you had a busy day! I'm getting myself prepared for a big run this morning, should be 6.5 miles. I'd like to get it in before the weather starts getting hot. After that I've got a ton of chores to do, but I'd rather lay on the couch and be lazy

How was everyone's Saturday night?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good lord, Tommy - I haven't heard that song in eons!

Didn't sleep in too late this morning for a change. Not much on the agenda, but then the Mrs. is still asleep, so my honey-do list hasn't been written. Gonna watch Favre throw a few passes tonight. Maybe he can double as a pitcher for the Twins, since 2 of theirs went on the DL yesterday.

Have a great day, everyone!

Just woke up after a great wedding reception last night. A little mall time, followed by a party at a co-workers house, ending with a 7 hour drive home is on todays agenda.
I hope I am home by 2 am, so I can get enough sleep to catch my monday morning (7 am) flight to florida.
I can sleep when I am dead I guess.

Good morning gurus....I went to bed late last night. Stayed up watching the Royals playing a double header with the White Sox. Fridays game got rained out, so the umpires decided to play a double header last night...started the first game at 6:10. First game went to 11 innings and the second game didn't start until after 10pm, I fell asleep in my chair before the game was over, I don't even know who won....Chicago, I'd guess, they were ahead when I fell asleep.

I was really tired anyway from golf yesterday, the team didn't play that well (didn't expect to), but I made good contact with the ball and hit the ball very well.

Rick you're up later than me! Pete, have a safe trip home. Brad, don't go and get too much done the wife will begin to expect it . Bill.....WAKE UP! LOL Matt, have a nice run, I think I'll veg out here today.

Need to clean the dust off the Corvette as I took it to golf yesterday and drove down a dusty road to the course, that's my plan for today. You gurus have a great day.

Good Morning Gurus. Lab is running well today. Hope to get out of here by 3. I usually run the two lakes at Notre Dame with my Collie. I live a mile and half from campus. Its cool enough to run her without any heat related issues.
Mom and dad return late tonight from their mini road trip. They are in Nashille Indiana, cute little town crafty type place. He texted me last night that the 87 achieved 32 mph at one point. I let their collie out twice a day.
He has four messages to do more scuba diving in South Haven,Michigan. I hate when he does that alone. He has twin 72 tanks with a Royal Aqua Master DA regulator. Tanks have hard points for Military stuff. His wet suit draws attention has his blood type and where to send body if things went wrong back in the day. Topic of conversation that he hates. The pay is outstanding.
Well guys its 11:00 am have 17 timed samples to review. Have a great Sunday. I hope after my run I can a least look at the ZO6. Tomorrow I play teacher. Erin

Well I was out of the house around 7:30 for my run. 6.5 miles in 56:11. Not too bad. The sun was out and was beating down on my face the entire time, so that sucked. I don't have any plastic frame glasses to wear running, so I don't wear any at all. Got home and washed up, got the baby washed up, and made breakfast for the family including MIL who stayed here last night. I didn't eat though. Protein shake was good enough.

I already tore into the washer and diagnosed the problem. It's called a rear rod and spring assembly. This one is squeaking. Looks like a B to replace, too, I think I have to remove the entire basket. Ugh. I'm gonna stop by the appliance repair store on Wednesday (some guys I know - very nice, very knowledgeable) and pick their brains. I also fixed a door lock/striker plate that my wife was complaining about. I'm Handy Andy today. Gonna go across the street and switch a couple O2 sensors around, too. After that I think I might take a little break.

Pete - hope your daughter isn't too upset when she has to leave her friends.

Matthew

Hi Matt when I run I mix a smoothe with bananas for potassium, fruit for fructose, and protein in the form egg byproducts. After my run follow up with another smoothe of bananas, fruit and milk, during the run gaterade, has all the properties of sweat keeps the electolytes up. I do the same when I lift.
Your times are good, I added above because I was having problems running in the heat. I got side track for a minute while posting. Anyway when I started the smoothe formula my times dropped and felt better. IMO Erin

Yea, scarey, huh?

I didn't even like running when I was on the track team.

But, I have lost 3 lbs. in a half hour in the racecar.

My breakfast smoothie: Bananna, strawberries, yogurt, orange juice & a teaspoon of brown sugar.

It helps relieve stress, gives me time to think, I just finished my run around Notre Dame and met Brian Kelly Notre Dames Head Football Coach. Nice guy. Thursday night I met two priests that were running. See yea never now who your going to meet. Last May I was running and a guy became very aggressive towards me. Dad taught me mauy thai and krev maga since I was 8, really slowed my time that day. I try and run every other day.

What can I say that zoe6 has already told you about my weekend, It wasn't 109! I was backing off it when I saw him. I lucked out by not getting a ticket other Vettes were moving alot faster. Quite a few Corvettes and Cameros running on 465 today, wondering if there was a car show somewhere in Indy. I see she cleaned my laptop for me. Anyway had a great weekend and ready for school to start.

I should hit the casino, I feel like I have a publicist in zoe6. Bill I really lucked out with the ticket, cop had an attitude in the beginning, thought I was a part of a Vette and Camero group that was running the Indy 500 on 465. After we talked a while he was cool. I told him that I had to accelerate to avoid crazy vette drivers. When he found out I was a shop teacher he started telling me about his wood shop teacher and that he was a navy seebee. Cool. BTW he hates the charger! has transmission trouble and electical issues. Isn't Dodge owned by Fiat or Fix It Again Tony.
