Good Morning CGs!

Cutting it a little close this morning, so it's a short chat. Got a little bit of snow last night, but looks like it was just enough to sprinkle the ground. Roads look clear with just salt. Hopefully commute won't be too bad.

If you didn't read yesterday's update, I rechecked the gaskets and yup, lower only. Damn GM. What a bunch of tools. So I have a set of lower intake runner to plenum gaskets for sale - lol

Some brave soul will have to kick off HCF w/o me or Tommy to take the reins.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Happy Friday! Yahoooooo, just have to muddle through one more workday. It's a balmy 11 (high of day) and we got a delightful little coating of snow, also, which made the roads nice and greasy. It's the winter that keeps on giving.

Have a good day, everyone!

Yea usually GM sells you individual gaskets, not a set.. which is nice if you need one of something.

Yesterday I finally had a chance to re-install my trans in my car.. so far so good only drove it around the block. I still need to take care of a couple things on my car though.

At work I am working on a 1957 Chevy we are installing an LS1 from a '99 corvette in, right now it's a frame with a motor on it, still waiting on the trans builder to get up the trans and diff. Then I can see if the motor will run finally, I setup the wiring harness and PCM and the gas pedal. just anxious to fire it up! I have some pics on my face book..

Other then that I am ready for the weekend!

Yea, our delightful winter has turned back into aaa winter.

It's a good thing that the contractors that built my house put the front door on the wrong side of the house. I never use it anyway but these days:

Trying to wrap up some deals today but things are moving slow again with the return of winter. Watch your six out there today Guru's!

Good Morning guys...It's cold and windy, freezing fog, and just plain nasty. Thank God it's Friday. Tomorrow is supposed to be a much nicer day. I'm not complaining though about our weather, you guys are having it much worse than I, Bill that looks like a lot of fun.....NOT. Marcus, the ab ripper has a way of making you feel like crap. But I can see (and feel) an improvement in my abs in the month or so that I've been doing P90.

Got to go check on the students.....later.

I shoulda stayed the F in bed.
Found out my new microwave isn't working.
My new dishwasher just pissed all over the floor, looks like a bad pump.

Took the snowblower out and looks like the augar drive gear trashed itself.

We were suppose to get 2-10" last night, we dodged another bullet! Total 2" of heavy snow.
We are finishing up our 2nd trimester next week so kids are scrambling to get their required projects done for a grade. Third trimester should be good! Just my hard core advanced kids, no newbes.
I've been a demanding prick this last week! motivating my seniors to become a positive role model to the juniors and sophomores. Seniors think they got it made and school is over, hey baby cakes you still have 12 weeks and I will fail your ass!!!!! "Gee mom I didn't graduate because I flunked WoodShop!
Well guys Waste Management guy is here complaining about Wood chips and dust in the Recycling dumpster. He is a newbee the other guy wanted the sawdust. Same company different guy! Oh he looks pissed as I blog ! Think I'll make him wait a little longer! Yep thats what its about! The difference between dust and chips. Cool! They can take chips not dust!! WTF!! He smells like cigerettes and sweat! Better go my gang bangers are making fun of him. I need to write a fricking book!!!

Yeah Bill, what were the brand names on those appliences? Just wondering.......in case I need to buy some new ones some day I will not buy those.

Here is a joke to cheer you up:

One night a wife found her husband standing over their baby's crib. Silently she watched him. As he stood looking down at the sleeping infant, she saw on his face a mixture of emotions. Touched by this unusual display, she slipped her arm around her husband. "A penny for your thoughts," she said. "it is so amazing!" he replied. I just can't see how anybody can make a crib like that for only $64.50."

Well, at least some things go right. My neighbor's lawn tractor wouldn't start. He has a 4 foot snow plow on it.
Twin cylinder Kohler engine, I pulled the carb and cleand it out reset the float, checked the fuel pump and got it running. So, he plowed my driveway.

Found out my snowblower think was just a broken Chinese shear bolt.

Time for a beer.

So the microwave you installed isn't working...the dishwasher you installed is leaking...the snowblower you repaired broke....kind of like the stove that you replaced the jets on wouldn't work....
man, what a lot of strange coincidences - sounds like you better hire a handyman

Get rid of them now, you can't legally abort them in the third trimester.

Lemme guess...the carb just caught on fire, the Chinese guy down the street is going to sue you for being racist, and you just dropped your beer and broke the bottle...and it was the last one in the fridge that just happened to break, too?

You should have stayed in bed.

Am I extra mean tonight or what?
