Great day in the mornin!

We all know what month it is but do you realize at the end of this month the year will be 1/4 over. It means cars soon will come out of hibernation and it will happen before you know it. Will you be ready? The clock is tickin.

Crap, indeed! I was hoping to bring the car home soon, but there's still a ton of snow. We'll see how the forecast shapes up after this week (supposed to get dumped on again in the next couple of days). I may have to buy a new shovel before getting anything for the Vette.

Good Morning Gentlemen. Visiting Dads Wood Shop this morning to pick up a dining room hutch that he made for me. Thought I would check in. Its been awhile! looooooong winter. I have the next 5 days off so its time to put brakes on the vette and replace the rear calipers. Never done this before should be interesting! Can't wait to drive it again!!!!
Gas prices are now $3.56 for reg and 3.81 for prem.
Well guys Dad's students have loaded up hutch in the truck, looks heavy.
Have a great day! Erin

I got my spare ECM in the mail last night. I'm going to swap them today to make sure it works.
I may have a LT4/Hotcam chip for sale.

In tomorrows tech post .....

The vette was running fine. I changed the ecm to make sure my back-up was a working unit. Now I can't get it to idle without stalling with either ecm. Ideas?

Good Morning CGs!

Both babies are up and fed. The little one is washed up and dressed, 2½ year old isn't as cooperative....

I bought rugrat #1 a mini trampoline yesterday as a little gift. She likes to jump on the beds and couches, so I figured this was a good investment. $30 at play it again sports brand new. I thought that was good. Put it together and it's actually decent quality. I'm happy. She already loves it and was bouncing up a storm last night.

Weather should be pleasant, but we are expecting rain so no trip to the zoo today. We might get a walk around the neighborhood, though. Day off from a workout today, sore joints.

Not much else to report.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Beautiful afternoon in Indiana. Sunny high near 50. Rain and snow Wednesday.
Finished up my retirement papers and waiting for final numbers from the school corp. I have 348 sick days accumulated they have to figure out the pay per day based on some secret formula. Thursday will be the final number crunch.
Pulled the 87 out after school last night and fired that bad boy up. Sounds great! I should have made a recording of the exhaust sound to play back during our blizzard. 22 days to go be fore I bring it out of storage.
Gotta go students need help with their layout.

LOL I had to take four hours vacation today to do more work! Somehow that doesn't make sense.

I have two Corvette Club meetings tonight back to back starting at 6:00PM. I went to work at 0700 spent half day there and now back at the computer doing agendas and follow-ups for tonight's meetings. Work... Work... Work...

Oh and my engine builder is taking longer than expected working up the fixtures and hardware to test run my engine. In the past he has not run-in the LTx engines he built because he didn't have the dyno then and he didn't have the correct tooling and fixtures. Anyhow, he has decided to use my motor as the mule. He is creating a carbureted intake manifold and timing setup to use with LTx engines. Apparently this is what is taking so long to finish up. He said that he thinks my engine will be making noise and smoke on Friday. Crossing my fingers.
