Stress levels have eased some since I saw the prosecutor, did my jury duty and the kid has been looking for a job. They'll ease a lot more when sonny-boy calls me and says "Dad, I have some good news."
Today I have grass to mow. Once I get everything going, cutting is just mindless recreation ....... as long as one of the dogs isn't out bt the second nursery. Cars all need attention. A quick wash and top off the batteries will do it. Then we'll see what lucky vehicle gets to go for a ride. Maybe not today but definately over the next 4 days. I'll hook up the charger to one while I'm getting some ass time on the lawnmower. Have a gureat day y'all. And remember .... If you don't do it, it probably won't get done.

Morning guys...had to get up early as the GS left at 7 for Wichita (a 4 1/2-5 hour ride on the bus) to play baseball today. It's a long ways to go to play ball, but that's where they are going. Not much else going on for me , other than another day at school.

No ice or snow here, just cold. It is supposed to warm up a little today and a warming trend through the weekend.

Hidey-ho! The temperature is about the same as the top speed achieved on my commute - 30-ish. We lucked out and got rain overnight instead of snow, but now we are getting smacked with heavy, wet snow. Luvley!

Have a good day, Gurus!

Sounds like you're getting the weather you should have had back in November/December. At least you're getting some moisture.

Because of all the rain they got in Wichita the game has been postponed for today, so the bus turned around after it got out about 45 minutes. The boys should be back by now.

Good Morning CGs!

I put some stain/poly on the threshold t-molding and overhang last night. I have another coat today. I also need to move furniture, cut up the rest of the carpet, go to HD and buy tar paper and quarter round, and pull all the base trim. The problem is I have ZERO motivation. I'm just tired. Of everything. Not depressed, just tired. I need a day to myself. Unfortunately that is rare around here.

Neighbor called last night to see about installing the new front door. I told him I couldn't because I am doing hardwood floors. So he said ok, we'll do it Saturday. Huh? I can't do two projects at the exact same time but for some reason be was convinced. I dunno.

Made the kids breakfast and now I'm just lounging. Do I really have to to work???

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Get rid of the green grass - uses to much water, can't wait to tear out a big chunk of it. Watering is down to two days a week this year, gonna make it tough to keep things green !

The thing about watering your lawn and being on city water/sewer is that you pay for sewage use that you don't even use.

Yes, it is the first thing I've done wrong in many, many years.

Watering a lawn makes it grow........then you have to cut it......then you water it again............get the picture?

It really interferes with DNBFS.

Not when it reveals cracks in the glass.

And that was out of a spray can to see where I was, it'll get all sanded back off.

Now, I could write you a primer on primers.

Such as zinc chromate for bare metal and alumalumm.

Or self etching primer for bare metal.

Or the PPG K36 that I have on the shelf which is a high build primer that gets sprayed over primer. Then 90% of it gets sanded off when you block sand.

Or Feather Fill which sprays REALLY thick.

Or Primer Surfacer which gets sprayed over the high build primer that was sprayed over the etching primer.

And of course, the Guide Coat Primer which is a different color of primer that gets fogged on in between primer coats so when you block sand you can find the peaks and valleys.

And then the glazing putty which gets put on top of the primer but gets covered with primer, so you usually don't get to see it.

QUESTIONS??............ANYONE????
