Chilly and windy here this morning temps in the mid 40's. We should be dry today with some sunshine and breezy. Highs in the mid 50's for N.E. Indiana.

Late night as the Dollfins and the Bengirls played into overtime. 19-17. The fish won on a safety. That shortened my pillow time by over an hour but at least I went to sleep in a winning state of mind. When I'm into a game I can always tell. I talk to the players through the TV. Probably my most used expression is "You gotta be f@(%!~g kidding me!" or "F@(%!~g idiots!". I don't watch a lot of sports but when I'm in, I'm in.

Morning guys.....up early again. We had all three boys last night and will have two tonight. The football team put a hurting on their opponents last night last I heard it was 48-6 in the 4th quarter.

Not much on my agenda today, other than school. We head back east tomorrow for a nephews' wedding. We'll go the in-laws place and pick them up then on about an hour southeast of there to the wedding. We'll stay all night where the wedding is and head back to leave the in-laws off and then on home.

Well looks like work sucks starting today. I teach Special Education and we hired 44 new teachers SPED . My class this year was pushbutton. Today through the end of the school years I get the spitters, bitters ,runners and over all out of control kids.
You can't lay a hand on them. You just block them . You can't send them home. Wish I could use some of my years as a policeman to handle this. The one thing I can use is to stand there and redirect, redirect and go home after school and drink wine. Lol

Wow Steve....tip of the hat to you....that would be a tough job for me but I so do appreciate the folks that have the patience and caring to work with the SPED kids....I gotta give you a big Husker ATTA BOY! for what you do....

Nice here today, going to a lot of football games this weekend...well 2 anyway....home boys open the State playoffs here tonight and then into Lincoln to see if we can upset Northwestern.....geez you never know what Husker team you are going to get....

Got a meeting this morning so gotta go now....indulge yourselves today by buying things for your Corvettes...or get a new C7....what the heck....

The good news is, IT'S FRIDAY !

Tha "bad" news is, Tomorrow's Saturday and a hell of a busy day for me.

It will start when I get up at 4:30 and hit the road by 5. Cooking pancakes from 6:30 or so til 1. Haul ass home to clean up and head for Cleveland. The little blind woman's daughter is getting married. Wedding and reception will be at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

Last night I found myself wishing it was next May. I found a 2002 Z-06, electron blue, 6 speed, 28k, priced at $24,995. Almost exactly what I will be looking for, except for the Z-06 package.

Better grab that deal Ken....I doubt if you will hate the Z06 pack once you drive it......

Afternoon guys. it's been a very hectic day here. The sun is shining, but the wind is blowing so, it doesn't feel as warm as the temp says (58).

Steve, I can feel for you with those SPED kids, I don't have any this year, but typically I have one or two. They can certainly be trying. Heck, I've got reg ed kids that will try your patience. The day is almost over....TGIF

Picked up the radiator this morning and put it in this afternoon. When I started the car to warm it up my A/C light started flashing. Crap. I hit the coil when I removed the cowling. I got the car up to 100*+ added some coolant. Shut it down and checked the pressure in the A/C system. Pressure looked good. Light went off, started flashing again then went off and it's been fine ever since. Test drove it, no leaks. Rechecked the level added a few ounces and took it on a longer test drive. Level good, temps are moderate and the A/C was cranking. Looks like I'm good to go again.

Car woes on my end too - low or no oil in the truck, low oil in the Vette and now what might be a leaking intake gasket - reallllllly not in the mood for this shit.
Had a job interview today that just sort of fell in my lap the other day - after me really needing this - thought it was a prayer answered, considering I'd been asking - and this sort of 'happened'... they were 'blown away' by my abilities, and said I was way better than the previous - I know this as I knew him , and then they offer me about $5-6 less an hour than he was making and it's still way lower than it should be all the way around. Figures. Really makes me question my faith - just when I think I'm being blessed or about to be it's really another kick in the teeth when I'm down and a sick joke - sick of trying....
