Good morning gang.

Cool fall day here. Should be mostly cloudy and temps in the 50's and 60's.

Word of the Day Tuesday, November 05, 2013

pol\ pol \, noun;

1. a politician, especially one experienced in making political deals, exchanging political favors, etc.

Origin:

Pol arose in early 1900s in America as a shortening of politician.

Today Google celebrates Raymond Loewy.

So much to do. Already had a cup of coffee and read some of an older Hot Rod magazine. Time to shower, dress and go visit my friends at the clerk of courts office. The wheels of justice turn slowly. I'm one step away from the 24 hour notice and final eviction action. 2 home buyers lie in the wings. If one doesn't go through another is waiting. We're thinking of getting out of real estate, selling the other rental property and buying an investment vehicle. (Remember the 66?) In life, all things are possible. That would take a little while though. Maybe early next year. We'll take things one day at a time. We have good tenants in the second property. They always pay on time and it generates revenue. It's not like we need another car.

Morning guys....not 12* cold, but cold and wet this morning. We had rain starting about 1am and has rained off and on since and supposed to continue throughout the day. We have first round of football playoffs tonight. We go up against defending state champs. They are down from last year but still pretty good. It's up at their house. I think and stay home and watch it on the interweb.

Got the replacement cabinet done last night. Now I'll start work on the counter tops.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Greetings! Snow on the way here, too - no biggie, not much of it should stick around for long. And if it does, the snowblower is tuned up and ready for action. Now if I could say the same for the operator...

Have a good day, yawlz!

Good Morning CGs!

Kids are up and washed/dressed/eating breakfast. I have to get RR#1 off to school and then RR#2 and I have some chores around the house.

Got the garage door opener repaired last night. Not nearly as bad of a job as you might think. Maybe I can get everything in there cleaned up and move the car over. We'll see.

12* in ND? Man I'm glad I'm not there! I'm not ready for that cold stuff, yet (or ever for that matter).

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Marcus,I would have no issues in driving any one of the three. I would have to learn how to paddle shift though to drive the Ferrari. It certainly would be nice to have the choice. Alas, my feet are planted firmly on the ground and doubt I'll find my butt in any of the above. Recently a friend of mine offered us a C7 experience at West Palm Beach International Speedway. Unfortunately it conflicted with my wife's surgery. Oh well.

I'd like to take a drive in any of the three with the aforementioned vodka and GTFO of here...
Didn't sleep well last night and am tired. Customer whom I've met today being the 2nd time, noticed I appeared to not feel well just came right out and asked me if it was menopause.

Are all men that fkn clueless, rude and stupid? I flat told him, sir, I'm 45 not 55 although I may look a bit old for my age. I very simply didn't sleep well last night and am tired today. Had a strenuous workout yesterday, tons of errands and rearranged half the house the day before. I simply need some rest, but thank you for your concern. Jackass.
Just for the record, I know I'm not getting younger but as of now all my shit works like it's supposed to, no hot flashes, or any of that bullshit

Sitting here at school waiting for a student to retake a safety test, again. Third time is the charm, right?

It's cold, blustery and damp.....perfect night for a football game.

I have to go home to watch the video, Marcus. But it looks like a fun one.

OK, third time WAS the charm! He passed the test...now I can go home.

Just finished picking up some more leaves before the tsnownami comes, if it comes at all. We keep inching toward that 6 months of no yard work.

Letty, Mrs. Pianoguy started the "m" word in her early 40's, so it can happen. She was actually pretty happy to get it over with early on.

Yeah, I realize it's different for everyone, it's just rude in my opinion of men to just 'assume' that just because a woman is a certain age anywhere near 40 and even has the slightest hint of not feeling well that it automatically must be menopause. Shows how stupid some people are. and how rude they can be - you don't go into an office and make remarks like that to some strange woman regarding her age, it's insulting. Had he known me, maybe different but he didn't.

A large percentage of people are idiots, and it's growing larger.

Unfortunately, you were working so you couldn't tell him to F.O.

Telling an idiot that they're acting like an idiot can be quite amusing at times. But you have to do it with a straight face.
