Good morning gang.

Happy Veterans Day. Thank you for your service to my fellow veterans past and present.

Lets get this day started.

Word of the Day Monday, November 11, 2013

roger\ ROJ-er \, interjection;

1. Informal . all right; O.K.

2. message received and understood (a response to radio communications).

3. (often initial capital letter) Jolly Roger.

4. (formerly used in communications to represent the letter R.)

Origin:

This sense of the word roger comes from the military alphabet in which the name Roger meant "received." The male given name came from the Germanic words meaning “fame” and “spear.”

Here are some helpful Tips.

AFTER THREE DAYS OF DRAGGING MYSELF OUT OF BED AT 0500 TO GO TO TULSA TODAY I COULD SLEEP IN. YOU GUESSED IT, WIDE AWAKE AT FIVE.

PRETTY FAIR SHOW, WHAT I EXPECTED TO SELL DID NOT GO AND WHAT I DIDN'T EXPECT TO SELL DID. YOU CAN JUST NEVER TELL. DID GET RID OF THE BIG STAND ALONE CASE KNIFE DISPLAY CABINET WE HAD ACQUIRED WITH THE ESTATE OF A KNIFE COLLECTOR. I WAS REALLY GLAD TO SEE THAT GO; DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE TO LOAD IT AGAIN.

LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER PRETTY DAY COMING UP, GREAT FOR A CATCH UP DAY.

Morning guys....My body is sore from all the work this weekend, but I'm a happy camper to have that all done. Should be a quiet week at school, not much going on. Got a few more projects that I need to do, but nothing looming like this kitchen job.

Got to go. Have a great day, Gurus.

Greetings! It's going to be a balmy 26 here today, and not much better tomorrow. Think I'll stay indoors. They say we'll be back in the mid-40's later in the week, which will feel tropical in comparison.

A sincere and inadequate thanks to all the veterans out there for all you have done.

Keep warm, Gurus!

Roger that Capt. Mike.....

Thanks to all the Guru's that have served in the armed services over the years.....enjoy this day as we all enjoy our freedoms....

Glad you got some things sold Bill...that's hard work hauling stuff down and setting up....we used to show at ag shows and it was a lot of work.

Like Tom I feel beat up this morning...to much shovel work this weekend but its done....I told Uwoman that she could plant her Iris bulbs and she told me the nice lady down at Earl Mays told her its to late in the year to plant them...... Oh really hon....well heh heh at least we have it all done for next year......(mumble gurmble)

I did have a good sports weekend for a change with all my favorite teams winning....its the good life here in Huskerland....huge game coming up this weekend with Michigan State...we have to beat them to have a chance for going to the Big 10 champ game.....but now we have to keep an eye on those pesky Gophers who are on a roll....

Geez....Monday and not a nice one by the looks of it....gotta go make the living.....let's get after it Guru's....

Must be "Feel Like I Got Beat Up " Monday. I was off in The Land of Nod at 08:15 when .................. Ring ........ Ring ...... The skidsteer has a flat and they needed a floor jack. Jumped out of bed, threw on some clothes and in a coffeeless state delivered the floor jack. Guess now I can have my usual breakfast of ibuprophen, blood pressure and colesterol meds and a blood thinner. Should be good to go in 45 minutes or so. I have to go fill a couple of containers of diesel fuel and get them to a project my wife and crew are working on. She rented a back hoe for the day. $325 for the day. Maybe less. The rental place owner is one of our neighbors near the nursery.

Bet on a vet, how lucky can you get. Unfortunately, so many suffer from PTSD and physical injuries sustained in defense of our nation. A salute to all that have served

Happy Veteran'd Day to all of you that have served and continue to do so.
Brad, "balmy 26"? Sheesh - stay in bed - warmer in there - Supposed to be a beautiful 68 and sunny here, perfect day for me to have a leaf burning beer drinking party of one, but I will be working for peanuts at a client's office today, first day to work for them. 45, rain and then below freezing tonight and the next couple days here so that will jack my leaf burning.
I'm with Tommy on the 'Feel like I got beat up" Monday - I had a completely full truck bed of plants and crap yesterday and managed to get all of it planted yesterday. I know it's bout to get cold but these are monkey grass, hostas and stuff like that which will be fine here. The plants in the house are doing very well, surprisingly to me, the bird of paradise thingy even has a huge new leaf untwirling in the middle and some flower on one side I thought died has apparently made a resurrection. I feel like after yesterday someone beat the crap out of me. One more coffee and an aspirin or four and I'm off to the races... have a good Monday

Morning,

It is a bit cool here in western ND. The temp was down to 3º this morning and it is only 10º now. We also got a couple inches of snow over night. I don't suppose I can drive the Blue Toy today. I will probably have to stick to the old Ford 4x4. The dog came in from the outside and was covered in snow and it's not even snowing. He is old but still likes his fun, just like his master.

Have a great Veteran's Day and thanks to all who serve.

Being a teacher I have Veteran's day off. Going to the parade this morning laptop in hand. Because another dumb a## can't do her job I had to change classes with her. 1 of 45 special education teachers we hired this year. 3 of the 45 are doing ok. Something stinks here. (Teachers don't get paid to work on their own time. I do not get prep time. I am not allowed to do paper work while my students are in class. "special education only". I have two master degrees.
I suffer from PTSD as a former policeman.
I was told Friday at noon that when school starts I have to write a new IEP for her student. I have 4 more this month. The class I took over has severe behaviors. )

Wow venting is good for the hemorrhoids

I put some leftover pizza in the oven at 250* while I surfed the web awhile. It came out just the way I like it. Dark and crispy.

Unlike Steve, we do have school today. Kids are kind of Blah, must be the weather. The cold front moved through over the lunch hour. The cold front moved through over the lunch hour. Went over to the workroom to eat, it was nice, warm and light breeze, thirty minutes later walk out to return to the shop building and the north wind is blowing, it has turned cold and cloudy....dang.

Got to go kids showing up.

There's a show on TV about a treehouse building company, I clicked on it while channel surfing. In the first 5 minutes, the builder asked this couple what their budget was for a treehouse. They told him $120,000...

It's simply amazing the things you can have built if you have money. Guess that's why I like yard furniture. It's cheap and readily available.
