Howdy! I was awakened by the sound of the snow plow going by. So as soon as the coffee kicks in, I'll be hopping to it. It's currently a balmy 12 degrees, so maybe I won't need to turn on the handlebar heaters.

Good Morning CGs!

Well I was not up early for a change. Kids are at Baba's house for the night so we had a free evening. Went to dinner at a little joint down the street then did a little shopping. it was a nice evening. I got up around 8:45...that's like Brad territory for me! Got up, boxed up some parts I need to send out tomorrow and then did my driveway along with the neighbor's. We got another 3" or so last night. Surprisingly not too cold, but it will be ridiculous tomorrow, school is already cancelled.

I have to run to HD to pick up a shelf and some brackets. The new mudroom hutch is almost completed, I put in a little wood filler today and we need one more coat of paint. I'll post pics once all done.

Hey Marcus, this is what I have to listen to lately...my kids absolutely love this new Disney movie:

That was pretty good.....my girls were into the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast and Lion King...I always enjoyed taking them to the movies. Then there were the backpacks and t-shirts and the trips to Disney World...those were fun days....

Morning guys....(barely) I slept in a little bit, then went out to the shop to do a little work. I'm headed to school to work the Knights of Columbus freethrow contest. We sponsor that every year, it's a good way to get the kids involved with activities.

Boys lost their game yesterday, just couldn't pull it off. That's OK they are still learning. GS played pretty well, not the game he had Thursday, but a pretty good game.

Ok, I was up at 9, found out about two headline errors in my book that will ruin everything - in my opinion, but hell, when you are given zero time for a 56 page book and rushed like hell and proofers miss shit - screw it - you get the idea probably - anyway I was restless all night and upset. Hoping it hasn't printed yet and if so, well there's 30,000 of it out there or will be in a week... I have had a whole pot of coffee, breakfast, a pile of sugary cinnamon roll and still can't hold my eyes open. A friend came woke me up from my nap to bootleg a dozen of my bud lights so he and a cohort can go to him and his wife's small place at the lake and replace busted pipes, along with some coaxial cable for an old 19" tube tv I donated to the cause, a $20 craftsman 6.0 hp mulching mower that needs fixed he can tinker with.. and he gave me a brand new Toro electric leaf blower for my kindness that he had as a spare up there. Works for me. The sun is shining, it's 60 outside, I shall collect myself and go try out the sunbed I've not seen in three weeks, get my claws sharpened, perhaps visit the nursing home, who knows... have a good Sunday all...

Shoveling/snowblowing was refreshing. I'd start daydreaming of Puerto Vallarta, and then the gentle breezes wafting at 25-35mph would sting my face with snow and snap me back to reality.

You really have heated handle grips on your snow blower? Much envy and jealousy coming out of my body.....

It is a miserable day here today. Yesterday was 45º with the sun shining and no wind. It melted all day and the city even scraped off some of the ice on the streets. Today it has been dropping all day and is now 4º with a 30 to 40 mph wind. Suppose to get to -20º tonight and not above zero tomorrow. It is also snowing a little.

The whole winter has been this way, yo-yoing up and down every few days. I guess that is better than being cold every day. Keep warm.

55 right now at 10 after 2 and supposed to be 17 by 4 pm....better take the GS for a spin now and then tuck it back in the shop.....

Holy cow......I just saw the weather and they are saying -42 in Bradland.....tomorrow.....can that be right? That must be windchill.....-20 to -30 here in the morning and that is windchill....wind is gusting at 50 to 60 mph....

I put another log on the fire and we are hunkered down with some chicken noodle soup and a good crossword puzzle...

Yeah, -43 wind chill, only about -20 actual. May need to break out the long sleeves.

It's been a great day here, short sleeves and no wind. I think that is supposed to change by the morning. I sprayed finish all afternoon. Had a couple kids from school here and I was spraying the finish for a project they were doing. I told them I'd spray it but they had to be there to do the sanding between coats. They were here when I asked and were here until we finished, a couple of good kids.

Finished cleaning up and came in for supper and Rosie asks
"You want water to drink?" I said, "NO, I think I'll have a Margarita." So I did.

Don't think I could live up in MN, Brad.
