Tsaangu beaichehku!

Looks like everyone must be celebrating Valentine's Day with a little extra sack time. I could've slept another 8 hours, but then again, I am a professional.

Enjoy your VD, Gurus!

I know 3 people who named their little "almost a dog" Schatzi.

All 3 tried to bite me.

68 here today but it's supposed to get windy.

Happy VD all ! Taking the little blind woman out to a really nice dinner tonight. Hoping there won't be too much of a wait, the restaurant doesn't accept reservations.

Tomorrow I get to go to the Canton Hot Rod and Custom Bike Show. Should be fun. Gives me a chance to make sure the camera still works before the Sebring trip next month.

There's usually a hole at the lever that you can put a tie-rap in to stop the lever.

Of course that would make it harder to open the door in an emergency.

Chevy just announced that they are going to help restore the NCM cars.

To help the National Corvette Museum recover from the massive sinkhole that opened under the facility this week, Chevrolet will oversee restoration of the Corvettes damaged. General Motors Design in Warren, Mich., will lead the project.

“The vehicles at the National Corvette Museum are some of the most significant in automotive history,” said Mark Reuss, executive vice president of General Motors Global Product Development. “There can only be one 1-millionth Corvette ever built. We want to ensure as many of the damaged cars are restored as possible so fans from around the world can enjoy them when the Museum reopens.”

Ed Welburn, vice president of GM Global Design, will oversee the restoration.

When the cars are recovered, they will be shipped to the Mechanical Assembly facility, a small specialty shop within GM Design, where the best restoration approach will be determined. Mechanical Assembly has been part of GM Design since the 1930s, and today maintains and restores many of the vehicles in the GM Heritage Collection and GM’s historic concept cars.

INGENIOUS TRICK. THE DOOR TO MY GARAGE HAS LOCKING BARS KEYED TO THE OUTSIDE. I USE IT WHEN WE ARE GOING TO BE GONE A FEW DAYS. OURS IS A STAND ALONE, BUT THIS WOULD BE A MAJOR CONCERN WITH AN ATTACHED GARAGE.

THE SUN HAS FINALLY COME OUT AFTER A SPRINKLE OF RAIN AND A GRAY START TO THE DAY. THE SNOW IS ALMOST ALL GONE AND THE ROADS DRY. MAYBE THE BUMBLE BEE WILL FLY AGAIN TODAY. I TOOK IT IN TO MUSKOGEE YESTERDAY TO GET FLOWERS FOR DARLING WIFE. THE FLORIST LADY TOLD ME THEY HAVE FOUR CORVETTES AND HER HUSBAND IS A C4 FREAK LIKE ME. I WAS EMBARRASSED, AS I ONLY HAVE TWO. I'M FALLING WAY BEHIND.

Years ago, I had an idiot teenager try and get in the garage. he turned the outside handles on both doors and of course, that put both locking bars in their slots.

Cops finally caught him in someone else's house.

For Valentines Day I got Sue a dozen long stems. No roses, just the stems ............ Ooohh!

Just got back from setting up the booth for the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. They have an area set aside for plant vendors. Sue has 3 days there and usually does quite well, gets a bunch of new clients, and reconnects with old ones. No heavy schedule for the rest of today and tomorrow, just hope my phone doesn't ring. Sunday Sue volunteered me to move a couple of truckloads of stuff for the family that bought the house. I don't have to lift anything, just drive. Shouldn't take more than a few hours since the storage place is only about a mile from the house. Then I can take the rest of Sunday off. No big plans and plenty of time to do things I feel like doing or do nothing at all.

Art Festival .... Beautiful weather is projected ....

Hi everyone.

interesting video about the garage door but if a burglar really wants to get into your garage they just smash the window of the car in the driveway and use your garage door opener. Or simply open the unlock car door since too many people don't keep their doors locked nowadays.

Getting in a good leg workout today. wife is out running errands and the kids are at school. I did manage to stop and get the wife a bouquet of flowers so all will be well in the house.

hope everyone has a great day.

Happy VD all y'all... bank accounts lighter by now I'm guessing with wives and all..
My day was jacked from the time I got up... tangled up in the bed and my jammies, tried to roll my hair, turned 'em on but not plugged in, rain was due but it didn't so I got the Vette out, then yes, it poured. Got to Wal Mart had to buy dress shoes for my cousin in the nursing home - she was picked as their VD Queen - came out - no car - I panicked. I swear someone moved it. It was four rows over from where I thought I'd left it. I got home wet and mad. Whole day was like that. Took her a gift and left half of it at home. Fat lady at the grocery store riding one of those motorized buggy thingies cut me off at the checkout and cut in front of me. Fat ass. Then the card machine broke and the lady working got snotty with me like I didn't know how to use it. Then I had to go back to Wal Mart since the store was out of half of what I needed. Pleasant trip the 2nd time around.
Oh yea, for VD I ended up with a purple rose that smelled awesome that I was given from The Dollar General store along with a card from the same place, rose fit nicely in a MIller Lite bottle and yes, it absolutely made my day
I'm sitting on my hiney with a cold Bud Light and a nice piece of steelhead trout in the oven....

HAPPY VALENTINES AND A MUCH BETTER TOMORROW.

I'LL SEE THAT TROUT AND RAISE BY A BIG RARE T-BONE. DARLING WIFE GOT FLOWERS; I GOT T-BONE. I SHOULD BUY FLOWERS MORE OFTEN!

She's full of mischief, especially when it come to tearing plants out of the ground or digging holes. Guess she sees us doing it and thinks she's giving a helping hand. The pigs come out back and try to help me when I'm weeding. Animals are a trip.

In other words, a real dog.

If only you could teach her the difference between plants & weeds.

It was a great night for the home team. We won all 5 games tonight. Grandson didn't have a great night, but well.

We are headed to the in-laws tomorrow. It's supposed to be nice so I'm thinking it's Corvette time.

The elbow is better today, the anti-biotics are working I guess.
