Morning guys....I got to go as well.

Well we made it back after a wild weekend of partys and driving. drove the GS all weekend and got rained on several times....put on right at 600 miles and got an average of 22 mpg.......my car does not get the milage some of you guys do with yours......I don't know why........22 is not bad but not 26 like some others.....

Can't wait to see Letty's GS......6M....?

Back to work and I'm dragging and its so nice and cold out......geez....

Get your motors running Guru's........set out on the highways.......

THE SKY IS BLUE AND THE SUN IS SHINING ON THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. THE CHEROKEES THINK IT'S ABOUT TIME.

WENT UP TO TULSA YESTERDAY TO MEET #1 DAUGHTERS TRIBE FOR LUNCH AT CRAB SHACK. I WAS TOTALLY UNDERWHELMED. HIGH PRICES, MEDIOCRE FOOD AND SO MUCH NOISE CONVERSATION WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. NOT ON MY "GO BACK" LIST.

Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators. We haven't met yet---

I also went to a Crab Shack chain eatery and was underwhelmed......for the same reasons.....just give me a Wahoo's fish taco and a N/A and I will be fine.....


They made me President of the local Phobia Support Group awhile back.......I said, I was afraid that was going to happen......

Crap, last week of school and there are so many kids not finished. I've been running around like the proverbial chicken with his head cut off. Checking seniors in, helping underclassmen with getting finished with their projects...it's a freaking rat race.

Hi gang.

Been a while since last post. Hope every mom had a good mother's day. I had a busy weekend. I put in two new 7 way trailer plugs on the truck. One in the bed on on the bumper. Next project is to fix the clutch pedal bushing issue that these trucks have. I have the parts just need the time to do the job. The problem with the clutch is that Ford thought they could get away with using a cheap plastic bushing for the pedal to master cylinder arm. Works great for the light duty trucks such as the F150 and rangers but doesn't last very long on the heavy duty trucks such as the F250, F350 etc. So what happens is when the bushing wears out the master cylinder rod gets ob-longed and the clutch doesn't totally disengage. The fix to cut off the loop on the master cylinder and install a heim joint and replace the rod in the lever with a screw. Parts were about $40.
I would like to get this fixed before we go on vacation in two weeks. We'll see how the weather goes. Not working on it in the rain.

Wife was spoiled this weekend. Went out to dinner at a place called Baker street. Was very good food and terrific service. We're going back for our anniversary in July. I also cooked dinner for her yesterday. Grilled flank steak salad.

Good afternoon. Spent the morning filling in for Sue and the secretary at the nursery. Back home now and have to set up the patio for the Crime Watch meeting tonight. We usually have 20 to 30 participants. If I get done quickly maybe I can squeeze in a nap.

Not sure why she hasn't been here yet to tell us about it.

These are off my phone , wanted to get it cleaned up S previous owner did nothing to it , hope these work. Got back Sunday , not much sleep over weekend and it being dark I went on into house. Worked Monday then at 7 left to come back and get truck found a motel at 2 this morning, headed back home little later. Hoping this weekend to clean up better and get proper photos .

Congrats, Letty. I'm sure that should put a smile on your face from time to time. Try to keep from looking at reflections of it in the storefront glass and peering out the window to see if it's really in the driveway.

It really looks great. I am more than a little envious.

Yeah!!! That's a keeper....love the red calipers and all the rest. How many miles on it? That deserves a big Husker "Atta girl" Well done Letty! Et iz bad azzz....

It's not perfect and needs some things and does have enough miles to make most folks run like hell. But it was the same price as the 07-08s I was looking at for the same price. Hard to say no. And since it was purchased at approximately 6:30 Saturday night, it's been home from Blue Springs MO to Jonesboro,AR , then back to MO Monday night, then back home Tuesday - quite a haul and I'm quite worn out. I've not had time to wash me hardly, let alone clean that thing LOL... One in nursing home can't seem to understand the work/sleep/long distance drive schedule and why I haven't been down there to install her mini fridge the last two days... ugh
