Good Morning CGs!

How is everyone feeling this morning? I heard the temps on the radio and I just wanted to crawl back in bed and die until the spring....lol. I wanted to call in sick, but I already have a 4 day weekend on F/S/S/M....lol. Should be a high of -1 today. Awesome.

So why is the news always negative? Dow was down 3% yesterday, as were the world markets. Motorola to cut 4,000 jobs. Man, I feel like Bastet as the bearer of bad news!

Don't forget about guru trivia tonight.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

THURSDAY JOKE OF THE DAY:

CELIBACY:

Celibacy can be a choice in life, or a condition imposed by circumstances.

While attending a Weekend Marriage Retreat/Seminar, Walter and his wife Ann, listened to the instructor declare,

'It is essential that husbands and wives know the things that are important to each other.

He addressed the men, "Can you name and describe your wife's favorite flower?"

Walter leaned over, touched Ann's arm gently and whispered, "Gold Medal-All-Purpose, isn't it"?

And thus began Walter's life of celibacy.

Har, it's balmy where you guys are. When I got up this morning it was -24 with a wind chill of -39. This crap is supposed to blow out of here after tomorrow, finally. None too soon.

We're going out tonight to celebrate my son's 26th birthday. Seems like not all that long ago he looked like this:

Howdy!
It'll be a summer day here compared to what I've seen this am! High in the 40's with tomorrows highs around 34/lows around 14..
Not too bad, all things considered!

A good friend of mine left the company yesterday to move on to greener pastures (much greener!). Hate to see him go, both personally and professionally. My work load is about to double, maybe triple, but at least I've got a job...
There may be an additional position opening up where he's going before too long, so .....we'll see!
Y'all have a good day!

Good morning!
I was going to complain about the cold today, but after reading those six posts above this decided it wasn't really all that cold outside.
Not much for me today, need to rake some leaves.
Have a good day

We got up to 8 here today so far. Might make it to double digits.

Won't get past 5 tomorrow.

I'm glad the Obama administration has Global Warming as a priority. I could use some.

I just saw in the paper that Obama just said that he will not be able to do all of the things he said he could during his campaign...no shit dummy! I dont think any president did that but Obama was making some EXTREME promises.

dragged the 40's new chassis into the garage and cut the old camaro body off it. 2x3 tube frames are a beautiful thing when you are used to working with stock gm stuff.

Post some pics in other vehicles???

Also, I'll try my best to make trivia. Wifey hates me sitting on here too long and my cuz might drop by. I'll still try, though.

Good evening Gurus!

Congrats on the re-ups, Johnny!

Brad, your little guy was stylin' the 'fro in the 70's baby!

Spent my day fighting with my edit bay again. Can't get video from my computer to my beta deck. I've checked all the cables and the ins and outs with other equipment. Everything seems to work. Somewhere there is a setting that I forgot about, and it is driving me insane!

While my daycare provider is on maternity leave, I am in charge of taking the kids to school, and picking my youngest up at preschool before lunch. More or less why I bought the Acura last week.

I took the Vette today to pick him up. He comes walking over to the car, and his teacher says "BEN! You didn't tell me you had a COOL CAR!" He didn't say anything. I told his teacher thanks for the compliment.

We got him all buckled in, and he looks around and asks where the back seats went. I told him this car never had them. He though we were in the Acura...

I guess they're pretty much the same damn thing to him. Although I thought I had taught him better.

You think he might have noticed the car he went to school in was blue with blue leather, and the car he got in to go home was ruby with ruby leather.

Kids....
