Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Curtis and I own a 1974 Corvette. This is my first post here. I've spent a number of years over at CF and Digital Corvettes. My good friend Durango_Boy suggested that I come over here and see what this was all about. I've read through a number of posts here and there seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people who like having fun with their cars. I look forward to being apart of this forum.

Enough about me. Here's some pictures of the star of the show.

That shine is so deep I'm gonna need a snorkel.

Nice setup. Is that a Holley or Demon? What's hiding underneath the heads and intake?

I'll answer this one. That's a 1996 Vortec 350, bored to a 355, with RHS Vortec heads, full roller, 9.75:1 static CR, aggressive cam, and lots of custom touches. The carb is just an Edelbrock 1406. Simple, and runs great with little to no tuning at all all year round.

Built and installed in my garage.

A few things were changed after the pics were taken. The choke wiring was loomed, a different PCV tube setup was used that gave it a cleaner look, and a few other odds and ends and details were addressed.

What a gorgeous car. Love the cragars and side pipes. If I ever get a C3 I want it to look like that!

Welcome aboard.

Curtis, I love that color, I was torn between yellow and green for mine. My next one will be your color. What is it, House of Kolor, Kandy apple green?

I am rather partial to the green... Polo Green C4 here!

I really love that finish. And the attention to detail is impressive.

Well done!

Welcome!

Yes, and very hard to lay down right. It looks great in the sunlight in person. Pictures don't do it justice.

That's for sure. Seeing this car in person makes you think you can take a swim in it. Simply gorgeous in person. Also says a lot about the owner...Curt...as you do about the best job anyone could to in keeping it detailed and buffed.

Why would I worry about keeping it clean in the garage when it's going to get a 'good' washing the first warm Thursday of Spring? LOL.
