It has been over a year in the making, but we have acquired a new domain! It will eventually replace corvette-guru.com... www.corvetteguru.com.
The change appears minor on the surface, but is epic in the scheme of things. That "-" had the potential to really limit our growth. The new domain automatically redirects you to here. Now for some administrative duties. As you may already know, Red_Johnny will be deploying for overseas duty this coming September. As such, he has requested a "honorable discharge." I can't argue with his logic, so for the next year or so, he is "On Sabatical" as a mod. Trust me, I wasn't looking to replace Johnny. Johnny, be safe out there and we are looking forward to your return! Thank you for serving. I respect that more than you will ever know. With his vacation, we needed to replace him. That means we get to welcome TommyT-Bone and Matatk as our two newest mods! I'd like to thank Andy publicly for this opportunity. As you all know I'm a big supporter of the site and am happy to contribute in any means possible.
I'm also excited for the new domain name move. Although it's just a "dash" it will make a huge difference as far as web traffic and enrollment for the site. Let's take this opportunity to make this the best and biggest corvette enthusiast site and knowledge database on the web! Thanks guys. I am at school right now getting ready for the big show. They are loading us up with gear! Got brand new everything! The new ruck sacks are awsome, new sleeping bags rock, and the new cold weather system is great! They offer wireless internet for 40 bucks a month, a bit much if you ask me but hey, its the price you pay for technology. Tommy and matt will make great additions to the site I am sure.

This is called "planning ahead." There has been a huge bump in traffic since the new domain came online. I think the next big bump is near... I feel it in my bones... |
