im uploading pics to phot bucket now these is gonna be some before and after it was pretty neglected.i got it cheap because i know the guy and the motor had some issues. the previous owner shot the number 6 plug out of the head and he put a helicoil in it. after he did it would not idle bye its self and ran like strait ass. he did not removed the head to do the heli coil either. i pulled the head redid the helicoil and replaced the bent exhaust valve that he barely bent with the tap on the heli coil. 9 dollar valve later and some gaskets and a whole lot of cleaning and this is what I have.

When you're looking at the picture on photobucket, over on the right side you'll see "Share this photo" with a bunch of links below it. Copy the link shown for "Direct link". Then in your post here, press the picture button that looks like this:

Resized Image

It will ask you for a URL for your image - just paste your link in the dialog and take the defaults for the other options.

Great score for $2K, looking forward to seeing the pics!

Below the picture there are several lines. Left click on the bottom line, then right click to copy it, then you can just paste it on here.

You should copy a link from photobucket that looks like

[ IMG ]http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s46/kresge1975/1990%20Corvette/1306709615.jpg[ /IMG ]

And you can not do it from the quick reply box, you have to actually go into composing a post. (That took me months to figure out, BTW)

How I do it is I first transfer my images to photobucket. Then I open one window with Corvette-Guru.com and a second window with photobucket.com. (My Albums) There are two ways to load the pic to your post. You can copy the [ img] .... [ /img] and place it in your post or you can copy the HTML code on your pic in photobucket and load it to your post (that's the easiest). If you transfer [ IMG] [ /IMG] it must be changed manually to lower case letters for it to load here. If anybody needs help I'll try to walk you through. Let me know.

Wow, $2k for that? I assumed it was trashed but that just needs some soap and a vacuum!

If you need new heads they're all over the place for $200. But it sounds like the helicoil fix worked.

You should've entered it in the car show last weekend...
