Well I actually got to enjoy my car this evening! First time in a really long time. I'll explain later but the car is running great. Transmission problem is solved and life is good. I'm just glad that is behind me now.

I pulled it out into the driveway after work tonight and washed it real nice and buffed it up a little with some Adam's detail spray and then took it for an extended cruise around the local beach communities. Here are a few shots I took just before dusk.

The exhaust has mellowed out some now and if the wife will accept the sound levels I think I'll keep the Magnaflows intact too. I think I should drive it a bit longer before I go taking them off too soon.

It was on Radio Margaritaville earlier today!

Useless fact time: That video was shot in downtown Orlando, with the help of the local Parrot Head club chapter.

I thought so. I lived there for a little while and loved hanging out down there. I took Kathie there last summer and we did a couple nice restaurants by the park downtown while we were there.

Well... if you are looking for something to do, you can come see it in person and meet me too! I have a whole line-up of events this month and next that are in your backyard.

I'll be at the G-Burg Vettes Car Show at Lake Forest Mall in Gaithersburg, MD on Saturday.(08/13)

The following Saturday I will be at the Corvette Annapolis Show in downtown Annapolis at the harbor. That is going to be a nice show. Great venue.(08/20)

Weekend after that is Corvettes at Carlisle. Will be at the CCA tent most all weekend. (08/27-28)

Weekend after that is the Baltimore Grand Prix and I'll be in the Car Club Corral - (notice its not Corvette Corral) both Friday and Saturday (09/2-09/4)

CCA Drag Races at Capitol Raceway the weekend after that (09/11)

I'm tired and broke all ready and I haven't even started!

The G-Burg Show should be good. We will be meeting for breakfast a couple miles from the Mall where the show will be held. You could meet us for breakfast if you like at 0800. Then we will drive over together.

I have been to their shows before and they get a good turnout, but there is another all GM show that day at the community college a few miles away. I hope that doesn't hurt this show.

Would love to meet you! If you need directions to Breakfast let me know. The weather looks clear until 6 or 7 PM. We will be cleared out by 4PM. I know its a long way to go for a show.
